I think every time a new class comes out they should celebrate it's arrival by offering these in the Pearl Shop at the very least.  It's fitting, makes the Dev's and players very happy.

Everyone wins.

Except those people who feel smug in the fact that they have exclusive stuff just because they got lucky. and were around at the right time.  But, they could open up their minds and hearts.  Grow as a person.  It's a good thing!  And they'll win too!

That's a great idea! We can celebrate old and new classes with a celebration sale! Actually, that's an especially great idea! Not everyone plays every new class, and since the Pearl Shop is usually just new outfits, etc. for that new class, a celebration sale gives everyone something to buy!

Shamefully, I used to be one of those "smug" people a long time ago. :( Thankfully, I saw the light. Sharing is caring~! In a previous post, I mentioned my pre-order Shudad, but when Glorious Shudads and Shudad Blacks were released, I was happy that I could finally have one for all of my characters. If something as exclusive as that can be brought back, then Character (Pre-)Creation Rewards can and should be brought back, too!

I was going to post this last week, but I was so busy doing the Woosa thing that I forgot!

Last Wednesday, I saw someone asking for an email code from Woosa's pre-creation event. :( Poor soul! They just missed her pre-creation event! Then, the other day, I saw someone else asking for one, too. My heart goes out to them!

I asked everyone to share their stories, but today, I realized that I haven't shared my story.

I started this thread because I didn't get my Corsair's Ocean's Plume and Dream in a Bottle; I lost them to an expired mail.

I was so excited for that July. Corsair was set to release just before my birthday—double hype~! A mermaid for my birthday—and I love mermaids. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a mermaid so badly—spent as much time as I could swimming and even convinced my mum to buy an Ariel wig for me. lol Naturally, I couldn’t wait for my favorite MMORPG to get my favorite mythical creature.

But, then, all of my friends forgot my birthday. I got three happy birthdays—my husband, my mum, and an automated call from my pharmacist. Wow. That was is depressing.

I was so sad that I didn’t want to play. I did the log on/check my mail, etc./log off routine—oblivious that I was experiencing a glitch with my mail. For some reason (probably latency or an UI issue), it wasn’t showing, and it was undetectable (everything else was fine). At the time, I wasn't panicking. Corsair’s pre-creation event was a month-long event and was ongoing, and mail with expiration dates was a new thing that PA had started after the transfer of service from Kakao (my husband still has some mail from the Kakao era). In fact, Corsair’s pre-creation event didn’t even mention a specific expiration date, just the event period. I was trying to be patient since I know that these things take time, but towards the middle of the event, I was starting to worry, so I finally filed a ticket on July 17, 2021.

A GM told me that my mail expired on July 13, 2021—just four days before I filed my ticket. I asked—or, rather, begged—the GMs for a solution. I even asked if I could create another Corsair (since the event was still ongoing) or have the items transferred from my husband’s account to my account. At the end of the day, they said no; they can’t restore an item from an expired mail (and they still can’t).

I’m grateful for their patience with me—shoutout to BDO's GMs!

Unfortunately, I can’t let it go. I have OCD—not the fun, keeps-things-organized kind, but the debilitating, humiliating kind. I don’t like to talk about it for that reason. But, now, whenever I try to play my Corsair, I literally have a mental breakdown—both because I was forgotten on my birthday and because I don't have a "complete" or "perfect" Corsair (completionism/perfectionism is an OCD thing with me).

In the end, I couldn’t (and still can’t) play my Corsair without crying. To be honest, I can barely play BDO without wanting to cry or feeling sad. When it happened, I almost deleted my account, and I only changed my mind because I hoped that one day, one way or another, PA might bring back these items.

It’s stupid and pathetic; I know, but I can’t help how I feel.

If nothing else, I would be happy if I could just have my items restored from my mail. :( But, I would like to help other people, too—especially my husband who missed Sage's Eyes of the Ator.

Please, PA, help me lift the dark cloud from my account. :(

My selfishness aside, please share your opinions (good or bad!), your stories, your suggestions, your screenshots for the OP—all the things!

I can't believe that I forgot! Originally, Papu & Otter Emojis were from the first season's pre-creation event and season pass. Thankfully, last summer, they were brought back via coupon code. If they can be brought back, then other Character (Pre-)Creation Rewards should be brought back, too!
