Skilled rangers are capable of kiting and using a questionably intended mechanic called “hit stunning” from their movement skill Blasting Gust to create a movement gap that even a renowned “rat” class cannot overcome if spotted approaching. The retreat from a failed attempt at an engagement also becomes impossible because of the hit stun making the player’s character non-functional. This is where the “sometimes” comes from. This mechanic is one of many that render the large majority of super armor based melee classes ineffective if they’re not moving at legitimate light speed. Once the ranged class travels back in their ball and is surrounded by the rest of their guild, your options to contest as an individual player return to zero, which is completely as it should be.

All top played classes easily could catch rangers and it does not require big skill at all to do that. Rangers ability to kite is complete sht and its based on super armors in a meta where slows are put on every single class.

the guy is talking about hit stuns, shortening enemy gap closers, and forcing gaps into players rotations with multi hit ccs, these are advanced pvp mechanics. clearly he doesnt pvp with his advanced pvp knowledge.... hahahahaha why are people so dumb :(, go home balans you dont know what youre talking about

Lets not forget that the fact that awaken rangers is literally one of the classes in question about having low risk and too many protections. They are one of the very ones that got over buffed during reworks.
While I do not disagree with anything on this thread, I want to point out that while some skills on some classes are just overpower, there is also so many factors for balancing to consider.
1. Obviously gear score.
2. Skill addon's break some skills. In a overpower way.
3. So many variables from crystal, lightstone combinations..
It's hard to balance something that has so many moving pieces and even tho they are trying it's still a ways off.
On season a 225 AP tamer can kill almost anyone with a horse 😂
Just saying the boat sailed I think on game balancing they will continue to try but I feel like the puzzle may not be solved unless they reduce the amount of variables in the equation.
