What do Strikers and mystic give up in exchange for their strenghts?

Remember last June when Shai got nerfed because they heard about the Shai/Striker combo tearing it up in AP 300+ zones?
And referencing Valkyrie from an earlier post, her trade-off is Succession Valkyrie. Her damage is okish.... and doesn't seem to have much resistance to anything. Or I just use her incorrectly.....

They don't need accuracy, indeed endgame gauntlets don't build any accuracy accessory. Their accuracy is okay.
They don't need high AP in order to kill people, their damage is great (except for awakened mystic) even at low AP.
They don't need to build ignore resistance, they have a huge passive for that.
They don't need to build resistances, they are fully protected for 99% of the time.
They have huge DR and EVASION scaling, allowing them to be super tanky by building weird accessory sets like Sicils necklace, centaurus belt etc.
It's clear to see that all gauntlet haters here are being very unreasonable.
1) yes, gauntlet class's accuracy is okay.
2) No one needs high AP to kill this days, +285AP is enough for all classses this days.
3) that ignore resistance is mostly for grab only, which btw is also pressent in warrior, valk, mystic and the grab range of striker is shorter then warrior's & ninja awak's grab.
4) if by protections u mean, sitting in one place and rotations SA&FG then it's your own fault for staring too long. What are you? a villain from those old power-ranger show who stares rangers transforming for 5hrs? just go and keep beating. Striker & mystic got no range skills so throw few range CC skills at them or spam protected dmg skill while they sit on lingering protections.
5) well yeah they are tanky! and they must remain tanky cause they both are pure melee class and they aren't giga fast like other classes either (ninja, kuno, hash, lahn, valk, warrior, DK, nova awak, musa, mewha....).

On top of that, they have basically every kind of selfbuff and debuff while other classes don't even have a single AP or accuracy selfbuff.
Their grabs are the best in the game and their iframe sets is okay, better than most classes at very least.
Mystic (Mostly succession) has a PVP CC on E V E R Y skill, protected or not, and some skills have even more than one. And they have 3s CC. Yes, it's thunderpound which has a 15% evasion debuff as well.
Striker with a single side kick gets: evasion buff, accuracy self buff, movement speed buff... MY CLASS DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE POSSIBILITY TO GET THOSE SELFBUFFS!!!
At this point i might as well ask what class are you playing? like seriously, what class do you play?
If you are so damm envious of guantlets then just play with them.
EVERY class has very good buffs and debuffs... legit EVERYCLASS.

Oh? Ignore resist shouldnt exist as a passive in the first place. Also you missed zerk. Also ninjas grab in pre awaken is suicide fall that doesnt apply properly most of time cause no ignore resist unlike a certain few classes. An both his grabs as far as i know are way more limited on range Also oks are as fast as awaken kuno if not faster. Depends on spec.
Ooks should have a specific role, either cc bot with tank attributes or backline rat class , it cant be both. Unfortunately PA have zero idea how to make paper scissors rock aka balance. They try spreading the balance inbetween scissors an paper. Also striker got buffed even though he isnt in the bottom quartile in pvp.

i thought ooks are made to counter evil overpowered awakened casters which they do more than fines btw why are they already good vs other people and why do they even need buffs? :)

And the irony is that PA came up with a bunch of characters that have relatively unique fighting styles and weapons, but what excels in as good as every part of the game? Fists go brr classes. /logic

Sorc don't have grab...
Also sorc don't have one of the best class modifiers in the game, neither the best base stats in the game.

Awaken sorc isnt far off , but what you say is accurate for succ sorc
