This isn't 2016 and their 5k cristals anymore. Given the fact that players could potentially lose a billion worth of cristals while autopathing on roads I highly doubt those mobs are implemented, and if they ever were I also highly doubt those are the same mobs as in Elvia spots.

Even if they are still the regular mobs the reason I want to avoid them is that your horse gets stuck on them.

Well, I don't think that many players who don't have the requirement for Hadum spots will bother even selecting one of these channels. Maybe for a bet, from time to time...

But for high levels players, these new spots are welcome and also free some rotations on non-elvia realms. For every Elvia realm removed, there would be a return of players on the former good spots, even if channels are simply changed back to non-Elvia.

Even on the Elvia realms the "former good spots" are full as well, and on the non Elvia realms the Mediocre spots are full, and the "former good spots" are full.  The problem lies in the fact the people that go to the mediocre spots, Aakman, Hystria, Mirumoks don't even check the Elvia realms.  Those spots that are over crowded on the Regular servers are empty on the Elvia servers, and they are identical on both servers.

Tell me one grind spot that is crowded, just 1 that is effected by the Elvia realm, and I will concede the "need for more regular servers at the expense of Elvia servers".

I litterally have my farms in Fogan Marsh, have forever, never moved them, I farm them on Elvia servers, not a single problem.  I tame horses in Serendia on Elvia Servers zero problems, You can still gather from sheep and not be effected by Elvia, Same goes for the Kuku spawns.  You can path to Kzarka AFK and not get close to having an issue with mobs.  The only Life skill thing you can't do in Serendia is chop wood or Sap Trees, and they were really bad rotations to begin with, so that is zero loss.

Title.

Apparently there's a huge dissonance in usage of standard and Elvia channelns on one side and their respective number on the other side. As it stands, we currently have too many Elvia and too few standard channels as standard channels are either overrun or at least crowded while Elvia channels aren't.

Seems like there is a need to balance the ratio of the number of standard and Elvia channels.

There is ZERO difference Between Elvia servers and Regular ones outside the lv1-lv40 areas to level new characters...

No one outside of a new player OR leveling a char even uses these areas for more than an hour or 2 in there progression FOR THE ENTIRE TIME PLAYING BDO...

ALL Hadum mobs are located in a manner that you will never come in contact auto pathing on a horse.

Outside of, Orcs, marsh Naga/fogan , Biraghi Den, Bloody ministry and Castle Ruins LITERALLY less than 10% of the entire area of the sandbox is NORMAL.. there is no increase in difficulty or change in ANY OTHER AREA other that a warning issued on login.

Stop being a friggin drama queen and deal with it cuz if your actively grinding in these areas you are wasting your time as well as everyone reading this thread.

Excuse me but... Don't you agree with me in the end? There must be some slight misunderstanding here.

I was simply saying that removing Elvia realms to put back normal channels instead would make the former good spots even more crowded, in a logical way because it would remove the high-end grind spots that come with these new realms.

Right now, I see no problem with the current number of Elvia realms.

TBH here i think we could do with more leaving maybe only like 6 being non Elvia servers the areas Hadum covers are literally not used with the exception of some life skill stuff even then most of that is not done within the grinding areas anyway.

You have Olvia for new players, Season's for new and returning players thats 10 servers alone then you have 21 Normal servers and you have 16 elvia servers.

Your most populated grind spots are stars end, UW, Kratuga, Thorns and now Hadum stuff with this Hadum update it has taken a lot of pressure off areas like Stars End and UW. They need to raise the % of drops closer to what it was when Hadum was released to bring a bit more attention to the area though it is really good money as is.

I may have misunderstood what you were arguing for/against This style of message board is horseshit at best, a total cluster fuck would be a more accurate description, but it's  hella cheap to maintain and I guess you get what is paidfor.

If you are agreeing there should be More Elvia servers welcome aboard.  Reduction or keeping the status quo for Elvia servers on the other hand is not a good solution.    I guess that is really what I am trying to say.

Well, rising the number of Elvia channels is probably the next step, so yeah, if they want to do it I'm all for it. :)

I'd love to permanently stay on my home-channel (which is now Elvia) but I can't.

I'm one of those persons who religiously clears their rifts on day 1. If it spawns in the middle of a Hadum zone, I need to swap.

If I want to go gather Lizards, I have to swap.

If I want to go gather Pine, I have to swap.

It's bothersome doing this every day.

The more logical approach to this would have been the implementation of another 1-2 channel groups (like Drieghan 1-6 + O'dyllita 1-6) and make those Hadum exclusive.

Ser 3 has been our guild home channel for years its literally turned into a ghost town now its really weird. Im assuming a lot of folks went to regular channels to get away from this crap, at prime time the regular channels are now showing crowded a lot of times due to it.

I'm sure there's a reason why they split the channels, I'm pretty sure one channel "group" is a different node on their network.. yes, some life skill areas were effected but I don't know how many of you guys actually grind end-game spots like Stars End where you simply can't have enough channels/spots. I really like the way I can almost always find a free spot at bandits without getting 5 dfs/hour. I also heard bandits will be nerfed down to 250ap, that means you can start grinding there with seasonal gear, even more spots will be needed.
