Journals ruins new players experience in seasons

Journals are something that is available to ALL Adventurers, new or old. Your complaint is that old players, during Season, have the advantage over new because tey have Journals completed.
While this is true, you're missing the fact that Journals are available to EVERYONE and PVP is 100% optional content -- Season being full-PVE.
In conlcusion -- if a new player wants to have competitive stats with old players in Season Arsha or Season RBF -- then do the Journals. It's something ALL players can or need to do, you aren't getting a free pass for existing. Old players did the Journals. Nothing stopping new players from doing them too.

OP is "the best Sorc NA". The "best" Sorc NA is complaining about not having Journals completed, makes perfect sense. I bet ChoNation are on their knees, begging OP to join their guild.
