I don't know if I am alone in having a great deal of trouble in doing these types of quests, but as I am pushing 70 years old, I am finding timed quests such as Shattered memories in Atoraxxion and the starter quest for the Herald's Journal impossible for me to complete. I have had to abandon doing them. Is there a way that the timing can be adjusted so everyone can complete them. I doubt the younger players will have much sympathy at this time of their lives, but they too will have difficulty in their later years.
Is the starter quest for Herald journal the fishing quest? Lots of people are having trouble with that quest, especially at low fishing level it seems near impossible. Try fishing till you are master 1 and then doing the quest. With a triple float rod or ash float + the fishing rod with higher chance for big fish you should be able to do it in a few attempts.
Don't exactly remember the shattered memories quest. Only know most timed quests are ride from point a to point b in a set time which I believe even old people should be able to do.
Don't take what I wrote the wrong way, I'm not against making some timed quests easier if a certain group of people is unable to complete them.
The one where you have to talk to 3 or 4 people and then get back to him? If you have a fast horse, that might help, but that took several tries to get done.
And it's not the worst of his timed quests, unfortunately.
Not a fan of timing requirements for any quests, but some have reasonable times allowed. Others, including the ones mentioned here, are set too short. On the other hand, plenty of people have done them, even before some were made easier in a recent-ish patch. Having alternate paths to completion might be a good idea.
