I am not denying the fact what GM Altin wrote to us months ago. However recently there used to be max chars increase in the past... 1-2 years(if I remember correctly). Lets imagine this time the char limit is not going to increase with a new class about to come live. What would happen? Big disappointment from the players that want to try out the new class.

I understand to not make any effort to increase the limit of max chars on seasons without a new class release, but this time it's a different situation.

Althought I have spare slots, I am worried that there isn't anything mentioned about the character limit. Is it going to be increased or is it going to remain the same? It's what I'd like to know, before the next season.

I think they can keep going untill we hit same class numbers than slot numbers again. So maybe they will stop at 28 classes or will add more slots after that I guess.

Sure it sucks to lose charas you did quests with and lose Quests and FamilyFame, but thats something to expected with double classes for seasons. 

Well that is sad if they aren't adding slots. I have a lot of time and investment in my 28 characters and no way am I deleting any.

Unfortunately if they aren't adding slots I won't be playing the new classes.

Like others have stated, I have characters in all 28 slots and I have used pearls to purchase costumes and accessories for them. I hope they increase number of max slots, especially since they keep creating new classes.  I will probably not play new ckasses in the future. 

Knowing this, as I have recently began BDO... like last December... I'll make only a few specific, favorite that have pearl item upgrades/costumes while all the other will be expendable alts used only for energy/bosses/gathering.

If there were more classes than character slots, I would lowkey understand.
But currently there are 28 slots for 24 classes, and soon 26 classes.
Do people create like 6 times the same (their main I presume?) class for boss alts or something? I really don't understand otherwise.
And there is no way you tell me you optimally and activly use ALL 28 characters. That is just not doable even if you do not have a job and play the game 16 hours a day.

Yeah a lot of people have probably ended up creating characters, bought 1 or 2 outfits on it, or set it up with AFK lifeskill shizzle, and find it hard to let go of it. I get it, it's a hoarding mentality and you put some kind of value to these characters. But again, one character per class is completely understandable. Don't tell me you bought pearl items on duplicate characters, or waste your time leveling the same lifeskill on multiple characters (Hear me, having Master training on two characters...)

The reason that people do not want to delete alts would mainly be for the quest count toward Rulupee. I for one think it is about time Pearl Abyss removed that useless system. They should look at deleted classes as deceased family members and let their achievements stay. After all in real life when people pass on their achievements are not forgotten.

As it was already pointed out main and primary reason is quest count, anyhow good news that we are getting a slot. 

And while you are correct that noebody activly uses all chars there is a lot of people that have boss alts on each boss(usualy season or lower geared), few chars for varius lifeskills cuz its convinient to use multiple ones(like for example trader, hunter-gatherer, fisher, cook-alchemist-procesor, sailor-barterer etc...)and lets say a main plus 1 or 2 alt for active play and all of that while a lot of them wudnt be played much amounts to a lot of chars
