Suggestion/Comments:

I am writing you today with a little and crazy idea, which came up my mind the last few days.

The actual meta in Terms of progression is more Ap means more Money per hour. In my past six years I focused always to get more ap instead of getting a better Gear score in general and the root of the problem is, that the game is structured in that way. But we have so much different gear choices we can take on for e.g., DP Acc, DP Gear. Accuracy Acc, Accuracy (Offhand). Dose are relevant for PVP in some aspect, but for the majority of PVE players irrelevant at least for my Bubble. Those Items could get back a meaningfull manner besides of PVP again.

My concrete Idea would be to redesign spots, to fit different aspect of Gearrequierments and not only more ap means more money.

I will show you a two Examples:

  1. Basilisks of Valencia: to grind there you need 240 ap + Ap Limit (more ap irrelevant), but if you get more Accuracy, you get more silver.
  2. Giants on Calpheon Elvia: to even grind there you need 420 DP, but you need only 260 ap + AP Limit

It could change the way a new player approaches the game and helps to diverse his progression throughout the game. A positive side effect of those changes are people start to focus early on accuracy and that helps to counter the evasion player because you give people a little cherry to start early on to experiment with different items. More importantly you give “Dead Items” a natural purpose again and not you have to hand it over to an NPC because we don’t know what we should do with that Item. Also house buffs can be better utilized again for more purpose.  A pro is that you spread the player base more over the spots because they can’t just simple grind everywhere. This Idea should only be applied on a few spots to give the player an option for more diversity. If done otherwise it would be a huge overhaul of the progression which led to one major problem, if most of players still choose to go on AP the spots would be overrun. One more con could be that it takes longer for Players to reach the “End Game”.
