Is there a reason why the black spirit menu (comma key) summoning sequence has to be so tediously annoying? Close it too fast and you get a cooldown timer to bring up the menu again. Bleeding damage and other types of damage closes the menu abruptly. I find it rather annoying, to say the least. For a moment, just imagine if the black spirit UI was a menu called just like pressing the inventory key. The world would be a thousand times better.

I don't see what are you talking about tbh, this seems pretty next generation solution for me.

5years that game is plagued with that black spirit stale time. if at least it was totaly instant either for calling that stuff ( so get the menu ) or send it back wherever he come from.

But i mean... PA seem to have lost it for several things, just look at how the "family inventory" is managed.. : not accessible when storage is opened, need to go press a particular button to open it in a separated window.. I'am sorry, but wtf

Or just look at the "cooldown timer menu" where you have sh#tty drop down menu instead of being able to use the very handy "drag & drop" ..

that game is such a huge mess of "whatever" pile up on top of each others and thoses guys just never clean anything.

I can't say there is a specific reason for the delay. But at least it was updated so that it can be opened while moving. 

To me this isn't such a glaring issue. It only takes a few seconds to re-open the Black Spirit menu. The cooldown you speak of is less than most combat skills. 

Certain BS forms take longer to summon and de-summon than others. Experiment to find the fastest one (I use the little black speck with red eyes because that's as close to a what a shitstain should look like).

I figure the latter. 

It is easier to be critical of other people's work than it is to appreciate what it took to be done, especially if said work is still very much a work in progress. While I do doubt further changes will be made specifically to address the conditions for opening the black spirit menu, this game is certaintly not the product of stupidity. 

Do you think it is possible those forms take longer because of the % of system resources it uses to load? Before reading this comment, I wasn't aware different forms had different load times. But if true, it does make sense.
