Do you think it is possible those forms take longer because of the % of system resources it uses to load? Before reading this comment, I wasn't aware different forms had different load times. But if true, it does make sense.
It's probably just because of the animation length of the different forms are different. You can't do anything before the animation finishes.

I figure the latter.
It is easier to be critical of other people's work than it is to appreciate what it took to be done, especially if said work is still very much a work in progress. While I do doubt further changes will be made specifically to address the conditions for opening the black spirit menu, this game is certaintly not the product of stupidity.

Appreciate what? The stupidity? The fact that someone wasted his own time, to implement something, that only makes the game worse? lol?
You know things like this would be instantly filltered out by any competent QA tester.
If they would have one...
Also it's not a work in progress. This is a product released years ago, and this feature is bad since it exits.
You don't need a phd, neither 200IQ to see things like this. You only need common sense.
And while this is a small thing, the game is literately full of issues like this, and the countless small, little issues add up and become extremely annoing overall.
