I am a veteran player who left the game not so long ago after reaching a permanent state disappointment with the game design, i had quit the game mostly because i was doing almost 400-500 mill per hr in centaurs with my valk (250AP) while my main with a much higher time invested on (Guardian 288AP) was doing 200-300 mill/hr in saunil elvia realm.
So after hearing that elvia zone in general had recived some improvements i decided to come back and try it out again, as expected it still is the same shit, actually, in my last hr grinding there i made even less money than before, not even reaching 200 mill/hr and with 1 single drop of crystalized despair, its... utterly depressing
I guess there is simply no point in coming back to this...
Thats a skill issue.
Not a game design issuee.
Have to disagree with that. Calpheon Elvia Saunil is just bad. Sure you can do up to 500m/hr almost reliably, but it is no lie that the spot is much less efficient than for example Centaurs, which is a spot that requires a good 200 GS less to grind. That most definitely is a game design issue, as there is nothing special about Saunils that would otherwise attract adventurers to grind there. Potion or Merchant Ring spots are in many cases also worse money than alternative spots, but they are still important due to their treasure drops. This is not the case with most of the Calpheon Elvia spots (except Trolls and Hexe).
I can understand OPs frustration, though I disagree with their conclusion about it.
I am not even grinding and i feel ok :)

"skill issue"
No, it's a game design issue and we can see it in 3/5 elvia spot
you invest 100 times more to do half as much as the beginner spot...
The real problem here is the responsiveness of pearl abyss, it's not a problem that they fix as soon as the players bring it up, no, you have to wait at least a year for them to decide to fix it..
Why release content if it's not to give it a real follow-up behind..
These spots which are supposed to be part of the "end game" and they are less viable than spots which require nothing in equipment... dev team is supposed to react quickly for this kind of problem... especially since we've been waiting for Elvia Calpheon for over a year.. it's not to see a semblance of rework every year.. without even having a guarantee that this rework is EFFECTIVE...
