not to mention the other bug that occured when reds were targetable on mounts, people were getting shot off the wheel of their ships. that was not an ok interaction

i dont really see how any player stands to benefit from the proposed changes. its not like red players can do anything to you in a safezone. sounds to me like you just want to further exclude them from the game instead of coexisting.

As an avid and aspiring RP'er, I agree with Dixon that safe zones should be removed entirely. By doing this, we will have a more diverse and inclusive community of players of every type and interest, thus contributing to an overall higher quality of RP.

Sounds like a personal problem. Vision check.

The issue is how the hotfix (negative karma players mounted to be unattackable) is a major contradiction of the karma mechanic/system, where a red player should always be vulnerable to attack within safe zones.

No worries, it seems like this has attracted enough attention to move the devs towards investigation anyhow.

Thank you for your assistance! Without the information and data you've provided, it would've been hard to form a closing argument in my last report of this contradiction, but I've gotten it all thanks to you!

Edit: In my report, now reorganized into this topic thread above, I've also put in your suggestion of removing all safe zones! Let us gamble on which approach the developers would take. :']

I think it should be fixed for consistency. There are other ways to address the issue other than reverting it back to the problematic state it was in or just getting draconian with removing pvp entirely (Making everywhere safe) or just completely unregulatiing it (removing all safe areas). Not sure why either was even suggested. War elephants are almost never used for seige. Most guilds that have them have probably never used them for their intended purpose. From what I have seen they have mostly just been used to heckle RPers, as if we are some sort of unavoidable blight and they can't just swap to one of the many channels BDO has that are RP free. Before that they were sometimes used as recruiting tools but now its just an empty flex or an attempt to actively be obnoxious in safe zones. This is one of those things that the people who are against fixing it will eventually make it a bigger problem. They are the ones who have exploited it to the point that it's being called out. Were that not the case I don't think anyone would care, but an exploit is an exploit and someone will start using it. Might as well sort it out before it becomes a bigger deal than it needs to be

Haha, yeah. The wild "suggestions" were just in place so that the ones like NiceToesBro, Salty_Scallywag, and Lolipirate have a "say" in how things could turn out. Look at their salty comments above lmao.
