Are you inferring that a class that does nothing but backflip and shoots and 2 shots anything is harder to play than awaken wiz?

Only classes that are easier are the ones the just press E

That ranger then must have an insane amount of ap.... I have 305 ap with accuracy and if I hit a wiz 360 I take only 60% of his hp.... while they melt my hp bar with just a meteor, while they are protected and cc me (:

Of course, I play in LAS so most of my damage is lost in the lag and horrible server status

i call that a fairy tale. 400 dp ranger is barely like a trial char defense wise.

I dont see how it can be any easier than backfliping while shooting arrows but okay.

played ranger for several years since release, just now and then playing around a bit with her (no main gear but still 660gs) and everytime i'm surprised how bad it is overall.

it's probably THE squishiest class of all, even with c20 armor it's like u have tet stuff. feels bad for ranger mains who invest in pen armor but almost no effect.

awa ranger: ranged damage is non existant, it barely tickles. blasting gust main ranged cc hard countered by ada meta. so it's just a melee class with some ranged tools. but the melee kit sucks ass compared to real melee classes with shield block, ranged grabs and/or blockjump, multiple protected ccs and no stamina issues.

succ ranger: complete fallover in 1v1, some dudes in ranger discord tried to argue, had to get clapped hard before humbling agreeing to it. ees spam works only vs people who can't count to 2. it's nice in large scale though, when you can hide on a roof or have good protection from your zerg. but then again, you could as well go succ wiz with PA, heals and the capability to close range bomb a blob and even get safely out again.

the only thing she can do is like stealthe said, have enough gear to kill someone before he comes close (like 320+ ap with accuracy accs and full RBFs). but that works only vs selected classes, any fast class or one with iframes and those chances are gone.

as always, since over 5 years, you also easily see what classes are trash, because very few people play them.

Ranger main since forever now - never played another class as deeply as this, maybe a few alts to grind out artifacts.

Ranger is at It's core not bad - Succession is strong damage wise, easy to play, useful in large scale PvP, but pretty unprotected and slow compared to other classes in 1v1 scenarios.

Awakening is extremely good at 1v1, don't let people who can barely pull of proper protected combos talk you out of this, go watch some high level 1v1 pvp of some good rangers, that is not bad at all and not easy either. Awakening is pretty much up there when it comes to combos, resets, cancels, mouse movement even. Easy to play for some simple PvE but hard to master if you really wanna go at it.

The most complaints I personally have heard over the years now were from low geared Rangers, truthfully.

She is fine in PvE and situational in PvP - but you can have an absolute blast of a time playing Ranger.

ranger is op as hell. People who say its bad just have no clue how to play it. Sorry its too complex, I suggest you switch to wiz if you want to play a ranged class, its very easy and great damage, great at pve also and popular with guilds.
