Imagine being so buttmad you clicked yes at 49 you decide to dedicate your life to fighting a crusade against the system you explicitly opted into.

Just my tips:
Keep in mind, the open world isn't supposed to be sugar-coated rainbows and gumdrops. While not entirely a bloodthirsty land of killers, some bloodthirsty killers do exist, so this is just something you need to be aware of. They exist, so as a brave Adventurer braving the lands of BDO, even as a brave lifeskiller, I implore you to be prepared, in case of PvP scenarios. Favorable or unfavorable. Mutal or non-mutual. You're in the open world looking for progress / silver / gains, and so is everyone else.
BDO is PvPvE, meaning, it has PvE elements and PvP elements presented on one plate, both systems intertwine with each other in an endless dance of endless progression. It is also a sandbox, a type of game where we players are given tools by the game and we're to figure out how to use those tools to form our gameplay. Some players are peaceful. Some are not.
So when it comes to encounters with other Adventurers -- you never know the personality of people you run into in the open world. So always be prepared for worst case scenarios, just in case. Don't be caught with your pants down!! IE: Be ready to fight and defnd yourself, even if you don't want to, when in the open world. Safe zones or playing level 49 is the only way to be completely safe from potential bloodthirsty Adventurers in this game. But it's not so bad. BDO has many avenues to avoid PVP if you're a non-PVP player, or if you just don't feel like PvP;ing at the moment.
How to deal with DFS:
1) If you're fine with DFS'ing.
a) Accept, and fight for the spot you claimed.
2) If you don't want to DFS
a) Turn on auto-decline duels
b) When asked for DFS, verbally communicate with them. I would not recommend total ignorance of other people. I would recommend at least acknowledging their presence and talking it out if asked for DFS. But how you interact with others is your choice.
3) If they flag on you after declining a duel
a) Be ready to fight and defend yourself and the spot you claimed
b) Swap server if you don't want to PVP
I think OP is making it way more complicated than it needs to be.

Given the fact that OP literally bragged on Kakao forums for years about how big a PVP griefer and an abuser he is, what everyone is doing here, except a few honest posters, is letting a criminal go into schools and pretend teaching your children about morals.
Only new forum posters have an excuse for this, others are simply letting a bully lecture everyone about bullying.

Did you take a moment to think about what happens when you pit people against each for limited resources?

The point of the game is to dominate your opponents. To over power them (*cough* cash shop) in a competitive PVP environment.
ALWAYS remember I didn't create this system PEARL ABYSS did.

As per the evidence, I am the authority on it. That is because I care nothing about the emotional aspect and ONLY REALITY and facts. That is why the text is written in specific ways with disclaimers. I specifically pointed out there where plenty of people that asked DFS and when I respectfully refused they left without incident. I didn't try to cover that up or lie about it. I also pointed out that I didn't just move into anyone grind spot.
These occurences mainly happened at Stars End, which naturally is more prone to this type of behavior. However, it has also occured in the new Hadum areas although far less frequently. It's happened on virtually every single rotation at Stars End. It's MORE prone to happen in roughly 2-3 more desired rotations, but when the area gets full it may happen to any rotation.
As far as dropping guild etc. Absolutely I would advocate players doing this. I'm well aware of the importance of guild cohension and the value of it. Some guilds will use limited protections or have less issues.
However, what should NOT OCCUR is players abusing the broken declare system to mob feed or remove players just because they belong to a clan. A clan war should never occur without consent from BOTH sides. That's basic 101 design.
Just because something is within the game's design doesn't mean you get to escape social judgment on the matter.
So, now we have our first bit of data:
This test was performed at stars end with a few instances in elvia. Next up?
Again, if you want to present this properly you need to go through the effort and design it correctly, and then formulate a proper post. Video evidence of the entire experiment, a few tables or graphs etc.
Rn it's just one guy rambling on the forums. If I were to share my personal SE experience it'd be:
Went to SE, didn't find anyone on server, grinded 15mins, got bored, hopped to enemy guild server, killed 2 guys, grinded 30mins, got bored, hopped to arsha, had some fun duels on the node, grinded for 10mins, got bored, went off to RBF.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ in my experience this is what SE is like for many of us fellas on EU (in my guild anyway), but I won't bring it up as evidence as it is too small a sample size to use as anything besides a basic example.

Like I said in another thread, I don't.
I don't push into other peoples spots, if I see someone grinding, I go the other way or change servers until I find a free rotation. If someone wants that spot I'm on, they can take the karma hit by killing me, because I'm not going to hand it out for free by accepting a duel I know I'll lose.
There is 0 reason for me to abide by such one-sided "social norms". I've yet to see a single reason why I should.

Actually, it worked reasonably well for many years. BDO also implemented the exp loss upon death. However, Pearl Abyss is inferior to the NCSoft team in terms of game design. Everything Pearl Abyss does is the lowest quality work possible.

Pearl Abyss put a 1% exp loss penalty (completely avoidable by a *cough* cash shop item). It has no scaling, it was the laziest coding possible. Just add a 1% exp loss regardless of level. Regardless of the exponential increase in exp requirements. A complete failure.
So it was removed.
The exp loss in Lineage II was scaled to your level and exp deaths in a mutual clan war reduced the penalty for sides. A one way war reduced the penalty to the decaling side but did NOT circumvent the Karma System.
And yes, you are triggered, because I say you are triggered. That's how it works. Don't worry though "it's not an insult".

Who uses crystals in high-end pvpve grind areas? If someone tries to feed me to mobs, I'll just drop my gear. Then I'll res until they get bored of me not giving a fuck.
I play a ranger and stay at range and dodge. they can't feed me. Never has worked.

The fact that the OP created this topic YET again, tells me his weekend wasn't any where near close to what he is claiming. He likely just lost all his crystals on his main, which at this point I am becoming more and more convinced is Columba considering the way they jerk each other off in every thread.

Interesting note on the OP is that there is never any data of any sort presented (despite repeated claims to have extensive logging and tracking of all of these things), and the fact that there is currently no tagged character associated with his forum profile, so thus no actual evidence that he plays the game at all. There have also been repeated references to things that are out of date, which a current player would likely know as being wrong.
