I wanted a new season without a new class, I didn't want them to cancel seasonal. It's actually fun playing on seasonal Arsha and Seasonal RBF where the vast majority of fights are not just Gear checking your opponent.
Seasonal gave starters and those who wanted to try out a new class a chance to have fun. I do not see their reasoning in killing in off at all.
More variety is always good anyway.

Simple anwser, MONEY!
This is true, but PA also loves their seasonal servers all those new made characters open up the chance to mass sell character bound only items. PA won't skip out on the chance to make money it in there nature to treat their customers like cattle. Just give it another week or two an we'll have a whole new season server an a whole new reason to buy character only bound items.
See you in 2 weeks !
I'm looking forward to see no season servers and apologies from you for defamation.

I mean ye thats always possible but in reality its most likely to end up the other way around.
Losing players and money ...
Some of you say PA made lots of money from Seasons and some of you say they ended them to make more money? Make your mind up. When Season servers came in there were so many threads about how shit they were, now when they removed them you are all for the season servers.
For new players they were good, yes, maybe Olivia server buffs are not as good, but don't forget you get TET-PEN Tuvala gear for free now with basically 0 effort. As for the vets, you probably wanted that free pen capotia necklace, but too bad, you need to work for your gear now.

They don't care about losing a few thousand F2Pers or Low Spenders. It's all about keeping their Established Players well fed on content. They've cannibalized their playerbase twice in the past. BDO used to have many times more players it does now. But VP and then costume melting each reduced the playerbase by a lot.
The Devs. didn't care they was hooking a few Whales that each spent over $50k. We used have a few bragging about it in the old forums. So why would this time be different?

That is the inherent problem with all cash-shop model games, it's what the old MMOs players, like me, that played games back when every game was sub-based told people would happen, but no one listened.
Every single non-sub game is the same, you end up paying 2-3 times more if you want to actually enjoy the game than a sub would cost. Well, you all wanted this, now stfu and eat your shit-sandwich while enjoying your "free game".

I didn't wanted this. Actually I still hold my subs in both ESO and FFXIV. I spend more time in those games then I do in P2W games like these.
I also warned people this would happen. But so far it seems to be mostly a Eastern problem. As I still see current and up coming Western Dev teams still trying forgo the P2W route.

Yeah, ESO would be great but I can't stand the combat system and FF14 has the worst community I've ever seen.
