Not gaining failstacks when you use Cron Stones to protect your gear from downgrading is the single most infuriating thing in enhancing. Changing this one thing would truly give players who do not enjoy gambling a certain, albeit slow, way to progress via enhancing instead of having to rely on purchasing gear from the MP.

You still lose the Cron Stones when you fail. You still lose durability when you fail. Why do we need an additional punishment of not being able to grow our stack?

You can gladly take away the added Caphras on Cron Failure if you do this change. You don't get any on enhancing Blackstar gear anyway.

This would be a good change. Maybe you'd sell more costumes to the whales too, eh?

Or simply bring back a cron stone to it's 1 000 000 silver price as it was before. I will spare my comments about raising it to 2 000 000 silver in the past.

You mean take away the system that does EXACTLY what you are requesting?

Lol. You do know that no one, ever, in the history of BDO has PEN'd even a boss weapon or armor with Caphras enhancement, don't you? And then there are blackstar gear which even cannot be caphras'd.

Hell, it's cheaper to extract the caphras from failed cron attempts, sell them and then either buy more crons or save to buy the weapon itself.

That's how shitty the caphras system is for force enhancing. You would know if you actually played the game instead of forum warrioring 24/7.

It's called "tradeoff". You can enchant safely, if you wish, just pay the price...

Obviously safe enchanting will going to cost much more than gambling on avarage.

There's already a tradeoff. You lose the cron stones. Those aren't exactly free, especially when you start considering PEN BS enchants.

I agree with tomgore. The tradeoff to lose X amount of cron stones on a boss weapon or armor at TeT or PeN attempts is just infuriating. Just for the sake not to fall down again. It's like in the lottery. You buy a ticket and you pray you get the prize right now, no matter how hard you're trying.

If you collected those Cron stones either with ingame silver or from your own pocket money and you waste them for safe enhancing it's even more infuriating. I've never spent one Lev(The currency in my country) for this before, because it's an obvious trap. But imagine if someone not smart enough doing it. Smashed monitor or a KB and then the blame would go to PA would follow. In this suggestion he has my full support.
