Okay so I don't think I'm the only one who thinks this (maybe I am) but the Rare Hunting Animals need to be reworked... They are close to impossible to find, Especially the Night time ones (Star-Loving Llama, Buck)... I've spent close to a week constantly going to their locations waiting for them to spawn with no luck at all, I've read on guides that they take between 12-24 hours to respawn... This is such a bad mechanic... The spawn time should be at least once an hour, and they should all have a 100% guaranteed knowledge gain... If the devs are worried about the rewards they give, reduce them... Also the fact they tied the [Manor] Olvian Furniture Set to the Rare Hunting is a bit ridiculous due to how hard it is to find some of the animals...

Yes! You're not the only one, I was going around trying to find the Star Loving Llama too a few weeks back, and had no luck! It's understandable that these are rare and supposed to be exciting when you find them, but they seem a bit too rare to encounter. These night time ones especially, since you only get about an hour of searching until it's day-time so the odds are even smaller in encountering them :(. I server hopped every 10 minutes when it was off cd, when searching for the llama and didn't see a single one! The rng spawn timer is probably the worst factor in searching for these; since that's a 12 hour gap for potential spawns, and theres no way of knowing when they were last killed on each server. It definitely should be made easier in some way, at least lessen the spawn timer windows if nothing else! Good luck in your searches :D.

Yes, that one is terrible to find. I tried for quite some time and it just doesn't seem to spawn! Might be bugged and not spawning properly under the conditions, who knows. (I did find the buck, never the llama). Perhaps just remove the night/day requirement on these.

PA needs to learn the difference between difficult but fun content and just cancer content.

I know the star loving llama is the hardest one and i've not done this quite long enough to complain yet (ask me in a month...) but the one i'd really like to know about right now is the Cursed Stone Cobra. This one is not a night only, it doesn't have a specific spawn mechanic, and yet i've been to that spot 30 times+ on many different servers at many different times of day and i have yet to see it once.

I'm beginning to suspect there are more mechanics we don't know like maybe some animals only spawning on certains days of the week or something. Because for example, the scorpion, for three days no matter how many servers i tried, nothing. Then one day... I killed five in a day (that's how many i required to get to S). Suddenly, pretty much any server i tried it was there. To a lesser extent, (because i'd only been trying for a day on this one), the same thing happened with the hyena. Tried a dozen servers the day before, nothing. Then the day after, killed it also five times to get it to S and it was on 4 out of the 5 servers.

I mean i get it could be people were hunting these animals too the days i couldnt find them, but on like 20 different servers? like, how many people are doing this content anyway? And once you've finished it, you're not doing it again, you're not chasing these rare animals for fun unless you're a masochist, the loot isn't worth it. So... yeah... idk, i'd sure like PA to be a 100% transparent on how this all works. As well as the % of chances the llama will spawn... Because 95% of the time i'm sure it's not that it does't spawn cause someone killed it recently on this server, it's obviously that it has a maybe 5% chance of spawning per night or something, but knowing what we're up against odds wise would be nice

I have 30 kills on all the rare hunting mobs except the llama and the deer, and I have to say they do seem out of whack with the difficulty of the other mobs.

Even the Leopard, which mostly spawns at night didn't take more than a few days of dedicated server hopping.

But the llama and the deer, I can go for weeks without getting any of them, even though I can camp 3-4 night cycles a day.  I can't imagine someone who can only play a couple of hours at night finding them.

Like, as I said above, I have the 3 titles for each of the other mobs, and I feel like I have spent more time chasing the llama and the deer than I have on getting the 30 kills on all other mobs combined.

Mmmm... That didn't seem to have any special mechanics once I figured out exactly where the 4 spawn points were.  If you are on NA, I can show you.  I used two characters because the spot East of the river is a bit hard to get to from the other spots.

Unbelievable.... i got the llama five minutes ago.... didnt drop knowledge. Now to be FAIR I DO want it at S which probably would have always meant i'd have to do it more than once.... but PA... seriously PA.... this is only the second rare hunting animal that hasnt dropped knowledge on first kill (the other one was the scorpion). And yes, yes...i had all the buffs, including the current black spirit one from the event. This is not acceptable PA. It really isn't. Knowledge gain the first time should be guaranteed on a rare mob like this one.

BTW don'T believe the hints that say server hopping doesnt seem to help. I got mine server hopping after 6am. It was on the high peak. I almost lost my nerve because i knew i didn't have a lot of time left to kill it (i assume it despawns at dawn)

I know the spots assuming the ones from the guide are right. Still no luck today, went there  on about 7 different servers.... And now i actually got llama first... though makes no diff becaue as i said it didn't drop any knowledge.

I'm not going for the 30 kills titles for sure, I just want S. Right now i don't have knowledge for buck (havent tried yet), cobra, squirrel (haven't tried yet), and.... llama. The rest i have and at S except for the leopard which is a+. I wondered if night made a diff for the leopard. I got him twice in the day, it's actually the first mob i actively sougt i managed to get (I got bear and alligator by accident weeks before...i  mean... i just happened to be there when they spawned, i wasn't seeking them out)

So far I got one on first kill on Alligator, Breoro and Fox. I'd have traded all of those for a S on llama on first kill.
