"BUFF TO THE HASH ????????????????????????????????"

Not so fast. New skill rework of hash is totally broken. All combos is dead now. All pre-buff in combo was destroyed.

I don't expect the game to be balance, but I do expect them to be good enough by now that the performance gap between classes should be alot small than it is now.

I think the problem now is they are taking in bad feedback from players who suck at pvp and make changes with it.

For an example,

If a sorc player decides he has a shity match up again a class due to low damage, then submits a feedback ticket for a buff to address 1 class's performance gap. Now the sorc gets additional damage buffs so he can better 1 v 5 everyone else.

They've been using this system to fuck up the game recently and now they added AOS to the mix. They are going to continue balancing the game based off gearscore stats that aren't reality in the current meta. 

I wouldnt describe long term top tier classes as a FOTM.

We are well over a year now since the Reboot and the same classes are still at the top, not just of top killin it but getting more buffs.

Its almost like Witch and Wiz all over again yet all the nerfs that these 2 classes got have not only been given back to them but also even more that has made them stronger from pre nerf.

Ninja is the same, Succ Ninja is a strong class to begin with BOTH PVE and PVP out of the blue he gets a massive PVE buff a month ish ago.

Zerker was supposed to get de tuned they did very little to it yet he gets a rework and buffs

Musa has been a serious issue and in my opinion is one of the biggest offenders on this list you want to know were all the Alist meta chasers are you need to look no further.

Ranger was the 1st to get the reboot and was completely overhauled, yet some how it was viewed as not enough and has had several reworks this latest one is a WTF..... Range is one of the hardest hitting classes now, constant downsmashes ranged trash that can litterally backflip from roof to roof in RBF,NW/siege and spam 1 skill picking up kill after kill,in our old alliance he was repeat storm trooper/ultimate weapon between 130-300+ kills every node war WITH 40 LESS GS THAN I HAVE ON MY SUCC VALK!!!!!!

These are not meta shift after a year this is blatent ignorance, FOTM i get with new classes but when the new class comes out broken yet dont match the broken already in game when you are at end game with 428 dp and are not just getting Combo'd but 3 shot by these classes yet they got another Buff Rework the simplist question is what in the hell are these guys doing.

OK bud i am gonna call BS here, Succession Hash was at one point trash but was buffed and given a extreemly abusive mechanic on top of being almost unkillable. you see them running around in RBF ,NW/Siege if your a hash and not playing succession your playing wrong spec THAT said awakening in small scale is still realy stong even after nerfs and loss of accuracy,one of my clossest friends is a awakened hash player well lets say this with minimul human damage it can clear my 428 DP without finishing his helecopter...

these buffs and reduction in cooldown time will bring it in line with the over tuned zerker,ranger and musa... just wait for all the rerolls to hash in 2 weeks.

I 100% agree with this, would like to know "WHO" are these people that can randomly send in a ticket and get that type of attention.

It sure is not me, i am pretty sure i have seen your name a time or two in the class feedback section, I know i was there giving my suggestions as well as a lot of players i know from both the Mystic community and the Valk community <------ NONE of which got into ANY of the reworks these were even simple mechanics changes that would of benifited the class that have been overlooked for years.

Simple things like fixes the the fall animations do to forward momentum that also puts away weapons.

things like Zerker grab that holds players through V... <--- the only class that can do this in BDO this has been a complaint for a LONG TIME.

I honestly dont know how much more it will take for this Trash job that PA is doing to balance before the Community stands up and starts to really complain. This is no longer funny to watch now with the NW changes inbound capping players these over tuned classes are going to get even worse without being able to use 100% of your gear.

I am sick of being Content for other players in NW/Siege i enjoy my own class its about damn time that we all should be able to play it. as you stated "The preformance Gap should be a lot smaller by now"

Here is main problem of BDO " the broken phone", who is bad, its  publisher or developers or both. All we can do from our side is ask publisher what's going on, and here we got the first answer, the publisher give zero F, well, my bad, they give some F, to spam twitch links in announcements.

Well the publisher and the developers are the same now, all bellongs to Pearl Abyss.

If you mean that whether the western people not forward the issues you might have a point, altrough it's not like KR ppl would play with a different game, what is unbalanced here also unabalanced there.

How i see things work. Developer adjust game based on demands/feedback from publishers, what happens in reality developers doing random changes while publisher have zero communication with upset  playerbase, Its like publishers forgot  that they work for playbackdesert and go all in on twitch/reddit/discord, where game experts with progress of few hours ( mainly leeching season to 61 and begone till next season) give them quality feedbacks.

tl dr. I do think publishers responsible for what's happening, otherwise they would at least care to defend themself.

PA Developers and PA Publishing are one and the same.

Specifically the blame for all of this lie directly on there shoulders, be it a buisness model or not knowing what the hell they are doing you can pick it.

It falls back to what ever data or specific feedback they are getting, in all interpretations what they are doing and there course of action has thus far proven they simple do not understand the current 99% of the playerbase. Who or what they are listening to is similar to what happened on twitter it took fresh leadership to expose the corruption from within. I realize that this is not some media platform and my ability to speak here is limited by there willingness to "Put up" with my statements and at any time they could very well bury this thread as Neg publicity and ban my account.

I am going after the developers/publisher both on this, if i dont and stay silent it will continue, i am hoping this thread wakes people up and gets the conversation going and eventually someone from up there will listen. We need a better direction in game and it needed to start a long time ago but will take that it starts NOW for the health of BDO and the community we really need to find a better ground so we dont lose the game all together.

When something works, people use it.

Gacha work -> People do Gacha -> 90% of all damn game become Gacha.
p2w work -> p2w everywhere. Microtransaction work -> Microtransaction everywhere even in Single player game.

Thier all crap thier *balance* ( Metashifting) work with *Expension*/Season or New Opus of Game with new class/mechanic and do arbitrary change on each individual class that ruin their previous work on making them *close enough*. WoW/FF14/BDO/GW2/New World.
Even Lineage 2, most stopped playing on Retail version for that particular reason. Having a fix version (C4-C6) Make the Pvp more interesting since you can actually learn the game and be good at it. Sadly, that kind of mentality is Good Gaming but bad Business.
While on a game with perpetual update and change. It's only your adaptation ability to play a role in your efficiency.
The game perpetual change and it's in that way that it's often catch new player cause these players were not happy with the previous *Meta*. Classe change do affect that people try and test and play.
Witch was none existent before the Blizzard change and Boom people get motivated to try the class and one shot people with the new blizzard. That give to people dopamine and retention their play time since there are enjoying the game, cause of the change.

Riot game with Lol are the kings level arbitrary change(MetaShifting) while the champions are perfectly playable and enjoyable. Soraka's first rework pissed me off so much.
It's an industry standard in game as a service. the only game where you don't see people complaining about balancing is on games that haven't evolved in 20 years.
Aka, not much mmo . The only one i have in head is RuneScape in the mmo department.


I am the first to say no to all the changes the valkyrie receives. I was against and still against all the changes since reboot. I stopped investing myself in mastering my class correctly because it's useless. There will necessarily be a patch in 6 months that will force me to relearn everything, to change my memory reflex and force me to re-master a class that as been playing for years.
