That same methodology applies even to classic product.

It's about power shifting either directly or indirectly to other classes. Buff this or buff that, nerf this or nerf that until it loses identity... The class left alone nearly always becomes dominant after all these changes. :)

bro wow is the literal example of an old game that is still played cause ppl invested into their characters too much. It's not a rushed asset flip game that releases a new broken class every few months for quick bucks, just to let it root afterwards...

I've been saying it for awhile now. Awakening Witch/Wizard needs some love but when PA released that "What should we fix?" questionaire, I suggested PvP buffs for awk witch/wiz, and PvE Buffs for Succ. It received a fair amount of negative votes. No idea why, I wasn't asking for anything massive, 10 - 15% increase increase in casting speed for awk witch/wiz, and 10% damage increase for PvE succ.

Oh well.

Agree with the OP. PA, honestly, is just in it for the cash grab at this point. It worked before, it's working now, the only way we'll get real change is if people stop investing money. Turn the spicket off and people pay attention, but with all these whales out there, never going to happen.

Its very nice that Developers/Publisher took players feedback about upcoming Nodewar changes, and give a big zero F about it and slap changes noone want. This is strong bond with community right on spot.

Obviously we have specific Meta classes that are almost brain dead at this point witchard is not one of them.

The issue with witch/wiz really has nothing to do with succ or awakening its more to do with meta of Node war/ siege or large scale gvg that relies heavily on range classes and the utility of a small group of casters in a main ball is super strong. Between Shai and witchard will change the tide of almost all battles especially if one side has very few.

Class identity IS very important in BDO the problem happens when you take a class that has let's say a extremely high evasion passive on both skill and add on in a couple of classes it's 30%+ then drop full evasion gear.

Then give a skill SA/Fg that does a tremendous amount of damage I.E. high crit in PVP and accuracy. Now you have a class that has a very abusive mechanic to the point it becomes a meta shift, Succ Hash has one of these in most cases end game players especially some that have Pen Debo can run centars with eva offhand and hit 285-90 and still take 4000hp from a 410+ dp end game player.

This is a unique example but a valid one, add in hash speed and ability to blink in and out you have a extreme strong and devastating flex class that can harass and 1 skill 650-675 gs players.

I get class identity but if that's the case then all classes should have something similar and they don't. BUT you can sure watch streamers and top ranked guilds to find the abusive meta mechanics theyvare the 1st to employ them.

Example is Choice's succ zerker.. then he perma tags a succ Lahn... I mean when a streamer with his gear is tired of winning on a succ zerker (the #1 ranked broken meta classes) he chooses another super broke class.. Do you really need an explanation of abusive mechanics created by PA Dev's.

Trying not to beat a dead horse here but with these NW changes this week it will become even more obvious what classes are super meta. It only gets worse the higher your GS and when your 730+ gs and are just content to these people that FOTM there is no get good here this is blame PA TIME.

Guardian awakening is garbage, unlike ninja. She gets useless pvp improvements and insignificant pve buffs. 

100% crit rate on an attack that you cannot use unless your opponent is CC'd, but you're too slow to catch and CC anyone.

Nope I get it, my point to all of this was not to shit on one or 2 specific classes. Although one of the stronger siege/NW classes is succ Guardian. When you can down Smash repeatedly, abuse iframe's to avoid grabs and SA to deal massive damage (much higher than a majority of classes), add in slows and have a magnus legacy skill that does back attack damage from the front on top of being one of the stronger pvp classes in game. 1v1 succ Guardian is Meh but get grabbed by one with 305+ap and the F Around and find out factor is pretty high.

Now these buffs over all no matter the class really needs to be thoroughly vetted and thought out. The attention needs to be more on the classes that have an use abusive mechanics or loop holes in the class that allows players to abuse these mechanics especially once your high gear...

And in the case of classes like the Musa end game gear is not needed.

There are ways that PA can de tune classes and still make them viable the problem here is that PA as publisher is ignoring a majority of the player base, trying to sift through all the nonsense.

The players in some cases can be to blame as well not being openly honest about their classes especially when it comes to those that are so competitive that ethics and morals are out the window all that matters to them is storm trooper and there own fun at others expense. This is were our current problem lies and now time Is running out eventually those that are "content" to others will vanish and those meta chasers will be all that's left to feed on each other.

At this point i stopped expecting anything, apart from my class never getting a rework.
