Dear Devs:

I don't want to complain (seems that's all I do).  I've really enjoyed the month-long Christmas festivites, but I do not want this to outstay its welcome.  And the last thing I want to see is an angry mob, or some vitrolic complainers that have your ear, demanding that the music be promptly removed, thus creating bad will towards Christmas that will cause it to be forever banished, or reduced to just two weeks as was the case last year.  Perhaps you are leaving them up for a long time for the sake of Eastern Europeans, some of whom celebrate Christmas on Jan 7th.  That's great, but don't leave the decorations and music in place for too much longer.  I want to see these seasonal delights next Christmas, and I don't want to have such a delightful thing destroyed in the manner of how you dealt with the game's soundtrack last April.  All I can assume is that someone was complaining that the music was old, so you went and wrecked it all. Having the music being chaotic is super old: I was tired of it after a month.  So, approach Christmas with caution, please.  Don't let it outstay its welcome.  And do poll the players to see what changes (if any) they might want to see concerning normal game functions and upcoming events.  This way you can see how many players actually want the change.  Thanks!

You're fine and you're pretty optimistic at least in my threads so... I agree that Christmas should be something we look forward to and afterwards just ditch it once new years comes by. Honestly speaking, starting snow on Dec 1 and maybe kick off the event 3 weeks before it ends (say the 7th of last december) and ending Dec 31 sounds nice. Then the new year event could kick off. Not sure how long I'd like to see the snow for, it's not that exciting after December to me but some people really enjoy it.

The Christmas music and decorations were cute and festive... during Christmas.  We're almost halfway through January now.  They are out of place and make it look like this game is in maintenance mode.

Pearl Abyss is becoming that one person in the neighborhood who still has their Christmas lights and big inflatable santa up, two months into the new year.  Turn it off please.

It would be nice if they could follow a normalized schedule, so that we don't have to worry, or guess in hope about what might happen the next year.  Winter should last at least a couple months, and snow should fall in December and January.  We get summer all the rest of the year, which can become dreary and old.  Christmas could be two to three weeks around Christmas time.  That way everyone can appreciate the festive feel, but it won't become too old and onerous.

It's been almost 4 weeks since Christmas, and all of the major cities are still playing Christmas songs.

Don't get me wrong. I love Christmas songs during the season.

But seriously though... I'm starting to miss the Theme of Velia while playing in Velia... Those Christmas songs have seriously outstayed their season... :')

Insane, its 19th January lol

This Christmas music is complete ruining the game for me right now, I can't even play because of it anymore. It's beyond annoying and it's starting to effect my mental health when I do attempt to play. People keep saying just turn the music off, I like the normal music out in the wild. I got a better option, stop subjecting us to this torment of the same loop you put in the game every year and refuse to remove it in a timely fashion. It's been 25 days since christmas was here. This is not sanity, it's absolutely insane and lazy to keep bombarding people with Christmas music like this. REMOVE THE CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!!!!!!

Every maintenance i'm hoping this will be removed. Every maintenance I lose sanity.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Christmas decoration and music, and obviously want it every year around Christmas, but this is just too much. 

Digging this back up: can we please have a toggle for that holiday music? And please don't let it linger again.
