Love the post, just have a few things id like to add that i think would be an upgrade

Instad of making ALOT of nodes to make sure the siege guilds are able to join sieges, why not make the acces to siege based on kills and deaths or just kills alone, this will emphesise more equal fights and keep people focusing on getting a fight than find a node where they can zerk the other guilds out to make sure to place for siege, this system is basicly already in place with the anti snipe, why not take it further and make it for siege and maybe even the NW shop, yes might make more guilds open the NW shop each node fought on but is that worse than befor where ALOT of guilds sat on a node to just get it each day.

I personaly enjoy the chaotic fights there is atm, yes DP is low and also to few nodes i agree but dont make 3-4 times the nodes will make snipes happen avoiding fights happen and sutch instad of going for fights and play the content

I agree with everything except the regions. The nodes in each tier should change every season. If you fight in the same node every week, it feels very repetitive. Changing the regions and the nodes more often would be better and feel more fresh and funny.

T4-75/100 should be almost as tanky as siege, annexes wise, but should enable 2 elephants on the node again, instead of just one. Should be 1 step before Siege.

Take away the gearcap on T3 and T4 and make also smaller playercap on Nodes!

Hello dear developers,

 

1. When do you adress the issue of items in the game but not accessable for new players?

2. When do you adress the situation that gearcap is not working for the structures?

 

to 1)

you locked out people of that gear by removing it as a questreward but keeping them in the game,

players who have them have a big advantage over others, thats sounds very unfair to me.

most known are the chimera pupils for the 10% down attack, but there also kaia necklace, cultist rings etc.

either you make those items accessable again or you remove them completly

 

to 2)

Why do you make a gearcap when you dont make that work on structures?

 

People swap to full sheet ap-gear + monsterdamge items like kutum/blackstar and pop frenzy draughts because the gearcap

doesnt apply when you hit structures.

if you create content with the purpose of a gearcap then you need to make it work on every aspect of the fights and going for structures is a huge part of a nodewar.

furthermore it feels very questionable to me why monsterdamage even is working in a pvp enviroment

 

 

It saddens me everytime i get a discord message from especially new guilds and they ask me for example why they went out in under 5 minutes or lost every fight.

When then i explain to them how huge of an impact special attack modifiers have or the huge effect of sheet ap+monster damage has on the structure damage they

clearly are very unsatisfied and saddened aswell, because they want to start nodewar or get a foot into it and you designed it so badly that they cant even get items which others have and are set to a big disadvantage already.

 

 

That is not how you should design the content. 

There should be no items locked out for newcomers. There should not work gear above the gearcap.

You need to do better.

Way better.

These changes show how out of touch Pearl Abyss dev's are with the community. The thing they were trying to fix, they made even worse. 

Additionally, if you want to fix the crap thats actually the problem, FIX DR, NERF EVASION and HIRE PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY PLAY THIS GAME.
