Title: Arena of Solare Improvements

Suggestion/Comments: 

Arena of Solare is far from perfect and with the 2nd season in full swing, major changes need to be made to improve player experience. Here is a list of improvements that I believe should be made to improve the overall player experience for Arena of Solare.

• Increase the time to reconnect

  - There is insufficient time to reconnect for players with a lower-end system or slower internet connection. As a result, players often miss the round and this negatively affects the experience of their team members.

• Make the reconnecting process seamless

  - The current reconnecting process requires multiple steps and occasionally causes the reconnecting player's client to crash. The reconnect dialog that is displayed upon logging in can also be accidentally closed, forcing the player to return to the Character Selection screen. Consider moving the reconnect option to the Server Selection screen instead for a better user experience.

• Remove instant death upon reconnecting

  - Players will almost always spawn in dead upon reconnecting during the preparation phase for a new round. It is unknown whether this is a bug or intended however, this needs to be removed as it negatively affects the rest of the team that were waiting for their teammate.

• Earn Arena of Solare tokens from Practise matches

  - Entering your first ranked match with default equipment that is not optimised for your class and spec can be frustrating and unfair. Players should be able to earn Arena of Solare tokens from Practise matches to prepare themselves for their first ranked match and ensure that they are given the best possible opportunity to perform well on their chosen class.

• Reduce external factors that can affect the outcome of the match

  - External factors such as buffs and damage zones should have their effectiveness and frequency of appearance reduced to ensure that the outcome of a match is fair and the closest representaiton of individual player skill as possible. The external factors in Arena of Solare have elements of chance which is able to skew the outcome of a match.

• Map design that does not cause inconvenience

  - Many of the maps in Arena of Solare contain elements that cause inconvenience and negatively affect the player experience. Elements such as climbable terrain and ledges, natural obstacles (e.g tree roots), "pits" (i.e areas that require players to manually climb or use a Z-axis traversing skill), staircases and rocky terrain make it difficult for players to traverse during fast-paced combat and while using Emergency Escape (V).

• Players becoming stuck insied of objects and underneath the map

  - This is a fairly common issue that can occur in various different scenarios, somtimes it is caused by a skill used by the player and other times it is caused by a skill used by another player (e.g vacuums). This issue is not exclusive to Arena of Solare but a well known and documented issue that occurs very often in the open-world. 

• Players respawning outside the preparation zone

  - The occurrence of this issue is rare but it still happens as of now (Season 2). To some, this could be seen as an advantage as it could put the player closer to a buff or simply provide a positional advantage which is very effective on some classes. 

• Unable to use Emergency Escape (V) while affected by Knockdown

  - There is a major inconsistency with the usage of Emergency Escape (V) as it will not function while being affected by Knockdown (and potentially Knockback). Knockdown is the most powerful type of crowd control that can leave a player vulnerable for 3 seconds and currently, a player can only use Emergency Escape (V) during certain animations of the Knockdown. The purpose of the Emergency Escape (V) is to allow players to safely exit combat from any position. This inconsistency causes much frustration and treats players unfairly as some classes have more Knockdown crowd control than others and therefore, giving them an inherent advantage.

• Grapple skills holding onto players who are in Emergency Escape (V)

  - Some grapple skills (grabs) have the unique and unfair property of being capable of holding onto a player while they are under the effects of Emergency Escape (i.e transformed into a dark/red orb); namely, Berserker and to a lesser extent Striker. This unique property is often abused to prevent a player from escaping a fight while also consuming, up to, the entire duration of their Emergency Escape (V). Players who are caught by this will have to make the difficult decision of choosing to V early and potentially lose their opportunity to reposition or V late and take damage from the opponent's teammates. 

• Unique kill/death sound effects

  - The kill/death sound effects within Arena of Solare are currently identical and this may cause confusion at times where players are less aware. Making the death sound for teammates unique prevent any confusion and improve the player experience, especially during high intensity moments.

• Adjust Arena Exit penalty conditions

  - Currently, the Arena Exit penalty is applied even when a player disconnects from a match that has already concluded (win or lose). This should not happen as players will occasionally crash at the end of a match, causing them to take a loss despite winning. The Arena Exit penalty should only apply when a player fails to reconnect to an ongoing match and is not present at the end of the final round or is not present for at least 2 of 5 rounds.

• Increase spectator mode viewing distance

  - The viewing distance of spectator mode should be increased so that teammates can spectate their allies at any point of the map regardless of the distance between themselves and their ally.

• Able to see nameplates of teammates who are in Emergency Escape

  - Positioning is a key factor to success in Arena of Solare and at times it can be difficult to communicate your position to your teammates. Allowing team members to see each other's nameplates while they are using Emergency Escape (V) will allow players to focus on the fight rather than having to worry about locating their teammate using voice communication. This change will also prevent accidentally dragging the fight to a teammate who is about to exit from Emergency Escape.

I hate to ruin ppls rank, but i want those crons, dont hate the player hate the game.

Rock on, nothing too greedy here.

I'd also be greedy for:
-Ability to change skill addons in the first round

-Ability to change gear/crystals in the first round

If you let me, I would love to add something to your topic.

Currently, rankeds are only available in solo.

What would really be nice is, a separately ranked premade system, in addition to ranked solo queue.

Hence unique setups could come, improving PvP in general for BDO
