To be fair, everyone knows that awakening ranger is pretty busted, lets be honest here.

That she has sub-par chasing and escaping capabilities and is a melee twig with a meme frontal guard.
Also "everyone knows" is delusional misinformation phrase that you attempted to gain weight to your statement without ANY visible proof added by yourself.
To play at a decent level on an awakening ranger you need to just have the skills engraved in your mind and execute them as natural as you don't think too much how to breathe.
You can easily detect a rookie ranger - they spam side jumping evasions too often. And since the class is a twig/tofu for a melee class - you just get rekt often as a rookie even if the skills are fast and you can compress around up to 3 skills in a second (if you can that is). So rookie rangers tend to be too jumpy and burn their CC-resists too fast.
The more skilled rangers will be able to make some trade-off damage and consume some of it (but ranger is still a twig so oftentimes its a gamble) and time their chance to throw you to the ground and with the double damage intake from being grounded cram as much skills in a second as possible.

The class is good in AOS played by good players throw an average player on her and she's going to struggle.

In 1v1 sure she is a good duelist but she's a slow class that sits in super armors. Guess what super armor doesn't block? Damage big aoe damage. She is a twig  she cannot tank much even building evasion on her barely does anything. She  relies completely on frontal guards to protect her she can't super armor trade that well because she's a twig.

Awk ranger as a class feels the most complete its ever been as I've said in another post.  But she still needs to be given better defense or be given more evasion capabilities. Successions protection is range that's fine but when you opt for awk you throw your only defense put the window and that should be fixed as she cant dash around at the speed of light like other assassins hit and run she's slow and needs defense to account for it :p

Forget about the Ranger Class using a Dehkia lamp.  Plain suicide.

Well some classes also move at the speed of light to you before you can react which means you have to predict which is a toss up and rangers extremely reactionary you fight them when they come at you catching them usually is out of the question but you know this 😉
