Port ratt sendoff idea

Since port ratt is being leveled It would be fun if an event could be organized 2h before maitainence of the land of the morning light release where you get dozens of carracks together and just fire wave after wave of volleys effectively destroying the port, personally I will be doing that on calpheon4 if anyone if interested in joining me feel free to join in. Would be nice to get at least a dozen players with carracks though!

I assume that with Port Ratt going away, so to will the Vadabin Diving Mask quest- so sailing people out there to get it would make for a great excuse to get people out there for this event. Plus then they are already in position for the new area launch, although I assume we will all just get a quest to teleport through magnus

There needs to be a week or two of events for this, really. The final blow up would be cool, especially if they could animate it sliding into the ocean or something (to be visited later while diving). Or maybe a Sycraia 2.0.

Nice idea, except I'd rather not contribute to the destruction of that pretty place. Wuju could save Port Ratt from these carracks, instead, and teleport the important chunk into The Abyss :)

Time to bump this. KR release 28 Feb - ? I am not encouraged by the silence from PA. Would like to have more notice, and some sort of associated event(s) - before release, for the old port.
Looks like that whole corner of the ocean is getting stomped, islands included. It will be interesting to see what they do with characters and mounts / ships left inside the area that is changing.
Meanwhile, we can update here for any player led activities.
