Title: Remove the level restriction for lifeskilling quests and perks
Family Name:
Meatballia
Region (NA/EU): EU
Suggestion/Comments: I understand the reason behind the initial level restriction of the desert trade buff. Dangerous zone to cross and all that. But now? We have Trade Wagons and Magnus. You can literally do all the trading (the few people that still do that) inside safe zones. The mastery requirement was dropped, cus eh... new players need to ketchup or some random reason, but not the level restriction.

Same goes for Hunting quests. Why is there a level restriction for Valencia, Kama and EW hunting dailies? Even more so, why isn't there one for the O'dyllita ones? I mean, as a lvl 49 I can reach Guru hunting down shadow lions in Narcion, but somehow I'm not fit for duty to help the Areha guy? Unless I drop the random bonus?

Please do something about these things. Put a mastery requirement for hunting quests. Put a higher mastery requirement for the trade buff, but please get rid of the level cap for lifeskilling quests. Everyone's telling everyone that if they want to lifeskill in peace they shouldn't level up to 50, but there's so much punishment happening for it.

Thanks!

+1, it feels like devs did only think about being 49 when it came to and old content, looking how even accuracy could be still bypassed with some food/elixirs. Now it is no longer the problem for 49 to hunt in any zone due to new crystal preset but it feels more like side bonus accident since quests indeed are still blocked in newer zones.

Now, the argument of "its suppose to encourage people to level up higher" isn't pretty valid as it gets countered by what is mentioned above "if u wanna lifeskill in peace, stay 49". But i feel devs simply forgot completely about exisiting 49 lifeskillers.

Another thing one would say, like complaining in other topic, "49 should have restricions because they can just grief on herbs or smth" which i never seen in my entire gameplay because...chatting can work magic. If one wants to be an "a**" he will always find a way. I have my 49 geared all in tri blackstar able to grind valencia zones, does it mean im going straight away with it on arsha and grief people there, because they cannot kill me but i can still grind the zone? No. Because i have no need for such behavior. If someone wants to abuse some system he will, no matter the restricitions and vice versa, the rest of community shouldn't be punished by actions of few people.

So all in all, agreed. Let the 49 do all their new lifeskill quests.

100% agree.  Level 49 lifeskiller is an option that is presented by the game, it is 100% unreasonable to present this option then punish players for choosing it.  There are already extensive nerfs for a character staying at 49 (less accuracy, limited skills, weight in the case of shai, etc).  These nerfs/limits are plenty sufficient to make the player "suffer" for their decision.  Level-limiting lifeskill questing is overkill and needs to be removed full stop.

Yep agreed. There's no purpose for lifeskilling to be involved with PvP. The gear is different and getting one-shotted just for doing anything is pretty silly. Everyone has a level 49 lifeskiller but it's not ncessary in fact it should probably go away completely.

If the game was designed in such a way that you could hire other players to protect you etc... And lifeskilling would make it worth the payment then yes, i can see it as a interesting mechanic but BDO isn't that kind of game and such mechanics would be too difficult to complete.

Absolutely they should consider doing something about level 49 lifeskilling and by no means do i mean remove the protection because nobody will lifeskill. It's already not very profitable.
