Wouldn't the very definition of childish be writing something like this?................

"LMAO the childish answer from a genius...Hes thesis is falling apart I guess :)"

Why didn't you write, I know you are, but what am I?

But THANK YOU.  Thank you for demonstrating the attitude and behavior of the BDO community and WHY Pearl Abyss CAN NOT trust their player base to monitor itself.  I couldn't have given a better example myself, thank you.

It's that kind of toxic childish attitude that resulted in Olivia being such a mess Pearl Abyss had to REMOVE PVP from the entire server ;)

Oh boy...how can you blame someone for something than mirroring it. Btw I was almost ready to reply on your last post that you have some good points, then you shit all over yourself. Again, like every time. Dude how can do it with such intence.

It's still unbelievable to see someone saying that a rule, decided, coded by devs and used for its real purpose, is a way to circumvent anything. There's not even a slight deviation from its intended use.

Well, whatever...

Back to topic, in the end, I don't know if coding such a system would be welcome. I like some parts of the idea (the intruder alert is really good) but changing the karma penalties or drop rates are a no-go for me.

However, one simple idea would be that, in case of DFS under the influence of the flag, both players will have an equalized gear.

Being outlaw is also part of the game, if things are too coded and forceful, you remove part of the freedom in it.

That's why I still think that, the best way to solve this resides in the first part of the system, the karma and death penalties, by making them temporary but meaningful, and by making sure the biggest offenders are punished more heavily.

If it succeeds, devs can remove/make useless bodythrowing and mob feeding without any second thought.

Umm. No. Channel hop to find an empty spot or go to Arsha.
If the game had ANY sembelance of "balance" maybe. Requiring someone to tag the FOTM/Rat class and learn it, just to keep their grinding spot is idiotic.
DFS is on its face trolling. I don't DFS, nor will I ever. If you want to try to bully me off the spot, I'm just going to drop to cheap crystals, equip DP Meme set,  and run the rotation backwards.

People are not going to play nor financially support any game in which their ability to actually play could be physically restricted by another player. You have Arsha, use it, or accept the restrictions on contesting a spot. You are not entitled to own a spot. That is a player ego-driven myth superimposed over the game. It has no mechanics in the game because it is not intended. The same reason you don't want to play on Arsha is the same reason you will never be given this on normal servers which would simply bankrupt Pearl Abyss in a few weeks as masses left for greener pastures. The irony in all of this is someone like myself who supports players never being given this ability to own zones plays on Arsha for the drop rate while people like yourself who want to own under-geared players with your own karma protections refuse to play on Arsha.

I wonder who are the people who dont play on Arsha and why. I know I do play, but only when I seek for PvP. Plaing for gains is waste. Maybe its me because I like to PvP. But every time I tro to make gains I fail. PvP is too intence. Atleast important spots. Maybe on Helms?
And I must say that favorite word of carmabombers "Go to Arsha" is kinda joke...

So... If you are PvE player, Arsha is not good because you lose drop gains. But my go on not popular spots.
If you are PvPvE player you lose gains, but if you dont care atleast you have plently of PvP fun.
If you are PvP player its great, plently of fun with mostly people with same atitude.
If you want to PK inocent you can go and you dont risk your crystals. There are enough people to grind on not so important spot. Or even you can try on top spots but you have to have gear and skills.
If you are karmabomber you dont go to Arsha because there is no karma and you cant grief.
So turns out that only karmabombers dont go to Arsha.

???

Buddy... Your first sentence is already wrong, you can do that on BDO, a player can do it by using a red alt with expendable gear or by using mob feeding. And people play and spend money on BDO so... Did I miss your point???

Fabricating a hypothetical in an attempt to sidestep the fact that you have no argument is obtuse. Since you can do this as you claim then you have a solution, create a disposable geared character to kill with, and control your spot.

Since we know that is not a part of objective reality, you simply are not going to be given any real control over normal servers grind spots through pvp.

The end.

Cope.

Your lack of understanding on that does make sense.  It's called self control, being an adult, being the better man, etc.  But since you have not evolved to any of those things yet, you don't comprehend any of them ;)

Naturally you are referring to the Karma Bomb system because the same rules apply.  I'm glad you agree there is no need to change anything about Karma Bombing as it's working as intended and as it has for years.

OOoooohhh the truth bombs.  That doesn't make sense though.  How can you or anyone play on Arsha (rumor has it it's just a body flinging nightmare that's unplayable for everyone)

Tee-hee (Shhh don't tell.  I've been then a time or two myself and that isn't true at all).

And yes what these forum warriors are really complaining about is how they want it to be a lot easier to just take prime spots like Orc main away from other lower players that do belong in the area.  Not only do they not do this bully $#%$% on Arsha they don't do it at Hex or other true top end locations because the competition is to tough there.
