This is not about copiates.. it's about being realistic, PA ain't removing grabs, but they should be adjusted
Like I mentioned grabs should be harder to pull off no hotbars no quick slots no 1 button to victory..
This could be a happy medium..
Several inputs for a grab for example: Shift, 'F' and right mouse button simultaneously to engage a grab(or any combination or more complex), and more of a penalty if you don't succeed, if they get the grab good for them but will give more of a chance to counter

What does this achieve exactly? Making a skill need more inputs? This is not a change that would affect the bast majority of people, and the few that would be affected would just use a macro. Using skills is not complicated and you can't make it complicated no matter what you do to them. Pressing 3 buttons instead of 1 will never be harder, it's equally trivial.
The penalty for missing your grab is you die. If it is not, then your opponent is bad. Some classes need more blatant grab miss animations (tamer, ranger, ninja, kuno) as they basically have no animation, but they're equally idle after missing and unable to do anything.
On many 1v1 matchups using a grab is a legitimate 50/50 coinflip you die, and in small and largescale, in many cases, using your grab is a 25/75 for you to die. If you're lucky, the other person will also die.
Grabs as a whole are not overpowered. No unprotection grabs and/or kd grabs (mystic, ranger's and tamer's). ranged grabs like hash's, sage's, lahn's, corsair's and multi grab classes (ninja, berserker, striker) could (and in some cases should) be tonned down individually. More often than not however, the problem isn't the grab itself, but the kit surrounding it (perma iframe sa for lahn and ranger, instant movement for tamer and hash, ridiculous hitbox for lahn (again), mousemove (berserker), real "I win" buttons (blockjump)).
Your suggestion just adds more copium to the pile everyone posting here is inhaling.
Permantly Iframe / SA movements are annoying and have ruined PVP for far too long.
You want see some class grabbing less ? Then make then less grab dependant by giving them better SA Trade.
You want to see grab remove from game ? Then remove classes which are permantly Iframe / SA while moving and CCing.

Why not just remove the 30% success rate from all grabs instead of putting them all in the same category, imo thats the best move for now then see how strong grabs are after that, the biggest issue seems to be because of the success rate ngl
