Why are you all exaggerating my points? I never asked for 26 chars now or any PEN armors etc. I asked for 1-2 char slots event or cheaper price when new class is introduced like 5k lp. Like im literary doing the company a service here for free by giving them this knowledge. If you don't belive me just look it up yourself or ask someone with marketing experience. I do consulting work so I would even be willing to run the numbers if PA reached out lol.

pearl abyss icecream is loyalty, dailies reward, ingame reward from quest, event reward, so dont say pearl abyss never reward you with ice cream

Anyway, there's no need for the default character slots to be increased at all. Personally, I have maxed out character slots thanks to discounted Pearl Shop as well as some slots from Loyalties and I never use more than four characters. I've got every single class at 62 for Family Fame and continue to only use Main, Tagged, Fishing and Bartering Alt. That's it.

First: Main Character

Second: Tagged Character

Third: Gathering Alt

Fourth: Fishing Alt

Fifth: Bartering Alt

Six: Trade/Training Alt

That's more than enough for all the content, you want World Boss alts? Pay for the convenience in having them. Don't care about doing any of those Lifeskills? Congratulations, you've got some World Boss alts. For the essential base game, they're generous with character slots already. You don't need multiple slots to "test" characters, in case that's an argument, there are Three Trial Slots you can use to literally try every class with all Skills.

All you doing is beging for free stuff, nothing more.

And your ideas are extremely bad marketing wise. PA already do discount character slot coupon when they release a new class, the pearl ones, the ones that actually do make money. They would not make more money if they would discount loyality ones, heck they would infact lose money cause that.

I think increasing it to 8 or 10 by default would be fair, but not really necessary with all the other methods to gain slots.

They used to give free character slots on new class release way back when. But back then, you'd get jack as rewards for playing the game. Also, rougly 30% of the time BDO is either free or with a 90% discount. Also, we get a lot of extra loyalties during events and special logins.

For what it's worth, I don't think the €3 price tag for a character slot is unacceptable, if waiting to f2p a character slot is too much to ask for. Also, you have 3 more character slots to try classes on, before you decide to commit to any of them. 

Not to tell you how to play the game, but I think that if you're a new player and have already used up all your character slots, it may not be long before you just drop the game completely, cus creating new classes and playing them for 1 hour can get pretty boring and being unable to progress past what PA is gifting you (Tuvala and the free/guaranteed pen gear) will just add to the frustration. Settle on a class, get to know it well, make some progress :D By the time you made some headway with it, you'll have either the loyalties to buy another slot or the will to make the necessary bank loan to buy the slot. Hell! you may never get so far and just decide that your time is much better spent playing sudoku while arguing on twitter :D

PS: New players benefit a lot more from the free stuff PA is offering them currently - including the stuff that has turned the market on its head a bit.

People can complain, but then what? PA makes everything free? So they shut the door.

Cheap people will always complain, there's nothing to do about that and it's normal to reward the players who pay for it.

It doesn't seem to be an important issue for most people anyway, as we can see here...
