Sorry looked around and couldn't tell. I'd like to play again but spouse refuses less PVE servers have been added. The few times we played since 2016, she gets angry at griefers once she thinks of higher levels then makes us quit.

Like we never even made it to pvp content... She'd just see them ganking other players and would angry make us quit game #_#.

Apparently a portion of the toxic BDO community doesn't believe you good folks should be able to play the game without being harassed by others.

The rules have not changed much.  Good luck finding a more friendly game.

Times have changed compared to what it was long ago. Since you're below 49 do not expect to be PKed at all. When you reach 50-56 you will very rarely almost never even encounter any "bandits". Whenever I grinded my non-season alts, I never had any problems with randoms these 1-2 years. The zones in Calpheon and Mediah are empty. That is at least from my perspective and I am on EU.

Once you get to the more popular places be aware that (also depending on your actions) that conflicts can happen.

Wonder how OP got ganked at level 20, when PVP starts at 50lvl. Any "ganking" if its even happens, only happens at "META" spots, which have daily 1h personal instance, where you can grind alone.

This is  PVP game in first place, even so, 99% of places in this game see no players, its only few  places that hightly packed with players, if you intentionally going there, you know what you signing for. If marni hour not enough for you, you always free to change channel or change spot in same zone, or even change zone, or you can pick up single player game where there is no other player to interact with.

As for toxic community, there is no more toxic players than "non pvp" lovers, they  always think that everything belong to them, everyone must love and help them, and aparently, they never pay back or respect others.

You do realize even that GM's respo;nse is basically GET REKT.  We have no intentions on creating a friendly game environment for you to enjoy without unwanted harassment.

Furthermore, due to our completely inadequate Karma system players with positive karma will not go red allowing them free shots to CC you into mobs deaths.  That way they can make you lose exp and break your crystals.

Additionally, due to class imbalance, P2W, and a broken flag system it will be very easy to cc opponents trying to grind.

You're so right.  I'm glad you spoke up about that glaring issue that no one else is daring to speak up on.  I'm tired of all these PVE players trying to turn Arsha into a PVE server.  They are so toxic they want to remove the Arsha server from the game.  That's all we ever hear about.

It's just non stop "when are we going to remove RBF from the game?" "Why can't we close down Sieges".  It never ends with these toxic players trying to get what they want.

I agree, it's just to much.  It's like they just want to impose on everyone else.

Nope. They stick to the game's concept. Just becase you don't understand it doesn't mean you should spread bias and/or misinformation. :)

They didn't stick to anyting.  They where to incompetent to develop a proper system for either side.

The ONLY side Pearl Abyss has is trying to extract every single penny they can from you regardless of the impact on the game or it's future.  If Pearl Abyss was so concerned about a "competitive game environment" they wouldn't FILL IT WITH P2W items completely destroying any chance of competitive value.
