The biggest problem with the marketplace is items are sold out and never come back in stock or items never sell. The problem comes from availability in game (Pearl Shop Items/limited drops) or not having enough incentive for players to sell (Meat). I have 2 solutions, either is viable.

Solution 1) Set up a weekly or monthly auto-balancing marketplace system. Here is how it would work.

The system would look at marketplace items and make a list based on three criteria.

-First criteria, the item is out of stock and has at least 500+ standing preorders on the max market price cap (preorders longer than 72 hours or a week).

-Second, the item has 1,000 standing listings on the minimum market price cap (listings longer than 72 hours or a week).

-Third, the item has no standing listings or preorders, and item transactions are less than 1,000 within 72 hours or a week.

After the list is built an automated market balancing system would take action on each Criteria:

-For the First criteria the market max selling price cap would be increased by 50% sliding the previous preorders to the bottom of the list and displaying the new max market cap for new preorders or listings.

-For the Second criteria , the market minimum price cap would be decreased by 25% sliding the precious listings to the top of the list and displaying the new minimum market cap for new listings or preorders; or the items would be added to a Rework list for the dev team.

-For the Third criteria , the item would be added to a Quest/Event list for the dev team.

Solution 2) If the first solution seems like too much work the second solution is much simpler.

-Add a buy from NPC option to each item in the marketplace. The player would be required to pay double the price of the max market cap value.

-Add a sell to NPC option to each item in the marketplace. The player's item would be purchased at half the minimum market cap value.

This would not only enhance gameplay but allow for increased playing time as players would feel rewarded for their efforts and not have to wait days for items.

**Added bonus** changes the game from "pay to win" to the more palatable title "pay for convenience".

Thank you for reading my Ideas.

So, you'd want to buy your VP and Celestial Horn from an NPC for 200% the max price on the CM? Or a pen Debo? Pen Fallen God? I can already see how this solution fixes everything, including PA's ability to pay the devs and (at least try to) improve the game.

I don't really care how low you'd sell your wares to an NPC. You may as well proceed and do that now. And imagine the lowest price for the item your selling just dropped that much. Ez.

1st solution is even worse. People were crying for a while about how the game went more p2w when they increased the max price for outfits, 'cause you see, you sell outfits and buy your 777gs gear. Also, you can push an item's price into the stratosphere, not much will change, if there are very few copies of that item circulating in the game. It would not change anything.

So, for pearl items, just swipe, if you can't wait to get them via other means. For in-game ones? How about you go get them yourself, especially since the example you give is literally within anyone's reach, foxes and wolves being among the first beasts to greet you as you start your adventure? :D
