So this is a feedback for the incoming Node War Reward Changes.
For people who don't know, these are the upcoming changes from Jan 16th Global lab patch.
These rewards for Node Wars is a good step in the right direction, but I think we should expand on these rewards to incentive taking a node from another guild.
For example, if a guild knocks the owner of the node out of the NW ( last hit on the fort), the reward increases by 250 million silver and if a guild claims the node the reward increase by another 250 million silver. So in total a guild can potentially earn up to 1 billion silver for taking a node from another guild in T2s to T4s wars. Even if a guild gets knocked out and still got last hit on the Node's owner fort, their Liberation/Defeat reward will still increases by 250 million silver. The same concept can be applied to T1 node wars too.
If the Node owners are able to defend and keep the node, they get the full 500 million increase on top of the base rewards.
The Base rewards above should be applied when the node is not owned by any guild.
PvP needs more incentives for participation.
With the recent cap changes a lot of players feel like their effort and hours spent to obtain more gear are being severely diminished.
Giving these people, where more gear often correlates with more practice and being in a stronger guild, a better compensation for participating in something that arbitrarily "tones down" their gear would be a very welcome addition.
The new rewards seems quite substantial. Remember glorious ak'krads are going for 1.2 bil on NA. That means winning + NW shop will net you guild funds, 500 mil in pure silver and between the NW shop and the personal reward another billion or more in stuff.
You have to be careful with systems that can be gamed, or it will encourage for example two strong guilds teaming up to flip the node each week. We are already starting to see NW alliances from in NA just like siege alliances.
