1. Ruins of Tzol = Trash map. 1 cc and you die because of trace of wind
2. 6-min wait time to enter + play pvp.
3. Every team member has better rating up to 300+ total = no matchmaking
6 minute wait time? I usually find a game within 10-30 seconds and then maybe another minute until everyone spawned it. Never really had more than 2 minutes waiting time.
6 min waittimes are common in
- Regions with lower population
- High end matches
- Low end matches
In the "middle" where you can usually expect most people to be, wait times tend to be significantly shorter. However, when you move away from this, it does tend to become a lot more difficult to find matches with someone in your bracket of points.
PA already improved this a lot compared to the first pre-season, but it still takes some time.
I mean lol...
What turns me down mostly is the bad optimization. It is not so much the queue time, but all those loading times and waiting times for the match to start. It just feels so bad compared to how short the individual rounds are.

I think this has less to do with optimization but more with people having bad/slow computers or internet, so it takes longer for them to load in. Especially when someone still runs this game on an HDD.
I have, what I consider, a high end setup. The loading screens are excessive. Why do you need a loading screen, when you die at the spawn? With the map as small as it is, there should not be any loading screen whatsoever. Initial loading screen is ok. But at that point everything else is fucking badly optimized.

Yeah that loadingscreen seems a bit unnessecary, but at least for me it's never longer than 3-5 seconds, so i can live with it. AoS definitly has other problems than those few seconds loading screen between the rounds.
