Hi, I am sure I am not the only one who would like to know a detailed expalanation of what Processing Success Rate is and how it effects income and speed.
Does it make you successfullly process more but not yield extra output? maybe you go through a huge amount of stuff faster?
Does it Directly effect more items being created when you process? Or is it more just speed and not more "stuff" being made?
are there any other benefits from boosting this stat?
I greatly appreciate any help guys thanks!
Someone with more knowledge can maybe better answer this, but from my understanding:
Let's take grinding grains in to flour for example. This has a relatively high success rate, but lets give it a 50% chance of success. You start grinding the grain and every 3 seconds, there is a 50% chance to turn it in to flour. If you fail, nothing happens. If you fail multiple times in a row you get "Processing is not going as expected." Increased processing success rate will just increase that 50% up.
As Luck said, if you fail the craft, a 'Processing is not going as expected' message will appear and you just wasted a little bit of time. The success chance has no effect on the number of materials used or produced, it just affects the number of successful crafts you can do in an hour.
The base processing success rate is 67%, or 70% with pearl outfit.
Seafood cron meal, a life alchemy or spirit stone and verdure draught will get you to 100% success rate.
Silver clothes also increase the success rate (in that case you don't need to run verdure to reach 100% success rate) but most people who do processing prefer to use mastery clothes because it lets them process more materials at once due to the increased batch quantity.
