And that's why I wrote what I wrote: give us ability to self-produce trash boxes (without workers).
Current trash box production system is not even worth the electricity used by computer.

I have millions of timber, ore, herbs, etc. but I'm not going to redo it into boxes for 10 years using workers for ridiculous money.

No idea how high you need to be to rework trading in this. honestly its even smells like completely nothing changed at all, drive from heidel to eliton and back for ~2-5mil proffit or grind orcs/hexe for same time and get ~500mils instead - ~100xtime more than reworked trade.

PA must start firing those "reworkers".

Aghh.. nightmare (to put it politely). Marine trading wiped at a stroke. Seaborne reduced to bartering and shunting trade items along the coast, for carting to the local capital. If still a profitable way to do things.

Bartering plus sea trading gave an interesting mix for a 40 slot Carrack.

Land trading reduced to very limited one way only too, weird!

Is the PC version being simplified to the level of a mobile game for ease of porting maybe?

The first time after ~19,000 hours I've seriously felt that I should be moving on...

How the heck did you manage to get to m26 without the ability to do math?


A calpheon crate at M26 before patch was 452,470. After patch, that same crate is 603,301. That's a 33% buff.

There's tons to whine about in this patch, but crates isn't one of them.

All they literally had to do was increase the profit margins of trading to somewhat compensate for the inflation since trading was first introduced to current silver values, give them the same system or something similar I guess that bartering does for refreshing the trade goods so you can keep going, and boom, trade rework done, would be at least a bit profitable to do, still as chill as before...but no, PA always finds new ways to ruin stuff even further...I have no idea what sadistic pleasure they get from it...

Well... The new system can bring some decent money for an semi-afk activity, the rumor system is in fact pretty reliable and makes not only the activity, but also the main cities a little more lively.

I do understand why some players would find it still not sufficient, but that's a good step in the right direction and it does not deserve such a hate.

This trading system revamp is by far the absolute worst change to any lifeskill in the seven years I've been playing this game. (That's right, I started playing bdo on openning day). However, I will say it's not as bad as breaking your promise not to go pay-to-win. (That little money grubbing trick cost you a lot of players and good will from those that stayed). But I digress. 

1. Prices change every 4 hours: PA darling, gamers need to sleep, just like everyone else. I can't be waking up at 2am just to buy/sell trade goods. But if I don't, RNG may drop the price of my items in storage, causing a hugh loss. Not your problem, just part of the game, you say.

2. Rumors: In a vain attempt to add a little roleplaying to the game, we are tasked with determining if these rumors, reported in the newsletter, are true or false? I guess I'll have to station an alt in each of the 8 regions. Then waste an exorbitant amount of time switching to each and assessing their accuracy. And I have to do this every 4 hours? So, what if I discover, at 2pm, that a rumor to hike relic prices in Grana is true. I then check all the available relic prices at each of the 24 nodes. Pick one and buy 20 items. Now I have to sit on my hands and wait until after 6pm to sell them. And all this depends on the newsletter mentioning the rumor at all. Price can fluctuate even without any rumor being reported. We call THAT a punishment, not a challenge.

3. Very low distance and bargain bonuses: Grana to Valencia; those were the days. Autopathing my level 49 (100%) trading character in my forest path wagon, named Gypsy, pulled by 4, tier 6/7/8 horses. The profits were amazing. The added horse training was also amazing. Now it's Alejandro to Velia or Bartali to Heidel. Profits sux, training sux, and gameplay sux.

4. All stocks have been depleated. you can purchase after 42 market price changes (or 7 days): I guess the ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything, really is 42. Anyway, I'm sitting here, at Eastern Gateway, waiting on the price of military supplies to PLUNGE, so I can buy 50 units and wait until the price goes back up to sell them. Anticipation high, finger on the mouse trigger, I wait until the clock strikes 22:00:01, and then . . . . . . Click! - - - - Sorry, the price has dropped to 30% and the facist guild has purchased all the stock. I suddenly feel like I was trying to purchase a Taylor Swift concert ticket. Dejected, pissed and sleepy, I go to bed. Tomorrow is another frustrating day playing bdo.

Epilogue:  Trading is dead as a lifeskill. No amount of lipstick will sell this pig. 

It would be nice if some PA staff would let us know whether the ring piece chance increased or stayed the same with the rework?
