Poor Decision to remove Port Ratt without replacing with any wharf manager

How are we suppose to use the 70% drop rate on lekrashan, now that port ratt is gone?

There is no temporary replacement for any wharf manager close to lekrashan, and reaching there use at least 50% rations. That is apart from having to kill many sea monsters to make him spawn. By the time Lekrashan spawn, one is out of rations.

You know, this made me realize that it would be neat if we could equip nets to our ships so that either A) it is used passively to recover rations or B) you could use it (similarly to fishing) and it will recover a set amount of rations. In space sims there are "fuel truckers" that help refuel those in the depth of space. OFC it won't work in this game but you never know.

Yeah @ShaiWalker. PA did shit. We all know it. I have not wasted more money for some time now. They don't give me the desire to pay for a game when they don't listen to what the players want / need.

Sailing in BDO without a fast, cheap and effective (meaning large) restoration of the ship's life, stamina and ammo does not exist.

This is the fundamental problem for which sailing is of little interest to anyone.

They couldn't even include a small wharf.

I was using the 70% drop rate for crocs. but the trek to and from Oquilla every time i need to restock is brutal. By the time i reach crocs again i will need to spend more meals to keep rations up. Poopoo move to do this while the drop rate is up..

Only way to make viable is use special balenos meals, craft ammunition and fast ship repair kits at Port Epheria, otherwise its a ungodly waste of time going back and forth to Oquilla's Eye.

balenos meals, craft ammunition and fast ship repair kits

Using this is too expensive, inefficient and slow.

One meal is only 22k stamina, and ship has more than a million.

Crystal = 2 cannonballs, origin = 8 cannonballs. One volley from carrack is 9 cannonballs and ammo capacity is over 1000.

Ship repair give only 2% and ship repair material requires 10 seconds, ship repair kit is faster but too expensive.

It should be big replenish and instant like a carrot for a horse, and usable from behind a ship's helm!

Also: we don't have a daily compass quest related to smh. It's only for barter.

I don't disagree. But there is not much choice between that and going back and forth to Oquilla's Eye.

And that's why I and probably many other players give up sailing and carrack blue gear, lack of which makes sailing (smh and bartering) even more pointless.

I see it same as Excess:

20-minute trip from Velia to crocodiles (plus refueling at Oquilla) puts me off.

And then 10 minutes of combat and the next 10 minutes wasted traveling to Port Ratt for resupply.

And now we don't even have Port Ratt.

That's why I made a suggestion a long time ago to add a small island with a wharf manager near crocodiles.
