Have they annouced a date for when they will get their awakening normally it happens soon after season ending but not a peep

They said that the woosa and maegu awakenings will take another 2-3 months. This was about a month ago.

I really dislike how long the introduction between succession and awakening takes. I'd rather they introduce succession from the start, get feedback for a month and then drop awakening, take feedback for a month and then adjust like the other classes. Considering all of their other cancelled content, I don't understand how it takes this long to work on one class (thinking back on drakania) and to see the length of time repeated, albeit it is two classes at once, it seems to be an annoying new standard.

Personally I'd rather see them take their time and only release few new classes. We got too many already in the first place.

What is taking so long?   I'm an older player. By the time they release the awakening weapons I'll be dead.  lol  Please speed this up.

It's likely that they'll have their wakening quests in the Land of Morning Light. Since that isn't out here yet, it'll still take a while. Personally I think it's a good thing. We have so many classes by now, it's nice to just get the awakenings of the two, which will feel like new classes, instead of actually getting yet another new one.
