The toxicity level of that post is high. But I can't help to agree.

I genuinely believe the developpers have gotten a knack at trolling Awakening Casters. Because if I wanted to make the most meme-y' change possible for Elementalization, it would have been exactly this change.

Pearl Abyss has been beating around the bush with Elementalization at a professional level. They have never commited to a balance logic that has been employed for every other classes in the game and have done according to their whims to appease god knows who.  Awakening Caster needs more mobility? "Hold my beer":

-Start with a slow Super Armor pre-cast for dash, and give it a massive gap at the end to make it barely useful https://streamable.com/e40l2a
-Make a change one year later to speed up pre-cast SA, and faster when chained from a skill, give a iframe during moving, and the unprotected gap can be closed if a skill is queued.
-And now,  don't fix the obvious issues with the skills being all about that pre-cast SA at the start that we've been pointing out constantly for almost 2 years. Just give a light SA at the end so that we don't necessarily have to queue another skill immediately.

All the while, we have a full library of clips of Elementalization being grabbed left and right even in iframe because the skill defensive capabilities are objectively flawed from the start. To add insult to injury, Scholar has almost a carbon copy of Elementalization in her mobility skillset with Iframe at the start, Super Armor at the end; something we've been wishing for 2 years... But no, Pearl Abyss just rubs it in and decide to piss us off with a completely unrelated change and decide to give Succession Caster exactly what they've been wishing for more protected mobility, SA on their Magical Evasion while they have split teleport already.

To add as to what SeedofYggrasil said.... I just can't.  I am completely let down, disgruntled, sick in my stomach. Please let me out of here.

If Elementalization Iframe at the start is a no-go.
Could they have at least given it a Swap to Sphera from Staff option at the very least?

This guy has clearly NEVER played AWAKENING Witch before, nor would he last a single month on the class in terms of PVP. I agree that SUCCESSION Witch/Wizard are a fucking nuisance, can rotate skills/protections without having to worry about CD's, have significantly more mobility than it's Awakening counterpart, can stack infinite slows on TOP of their abilities via Add-Ons, have tons of burst damage, a ridiculous amount of CC's, their skills have a stupid amount of range which makes no sense (out of render distance), etc. But we're talking about AWAKENING, which I have been nothing but loyal to for over 5 years now... and REFUSE to re-roll or play Succession. Pearl Abyss has completely abandoned Awakening Witch/Wizard, and even our Discord Server has been dead for years.

Why play Witch/Wizard when you can play some fucking meta/flavor of the month class? The small HANDFUL of Awakening mages I knew/acknowledged eventually got tired of waiting and re-rolled or quit the game a long time ago. Ever since Pearl Abyss released Dark Knight, Striker, Mystic, and so forth... the game started going downhill. AWAKENING Witch is extremely outdated for the current meta, and CANNOT keep up with all the new classes that keep getting released. We have ONE mid-ranged teleport that cannot be split, one mediocre attempt at a "second" teleport (Elementalization), do significantly LESS damage to most of the other classes ("Class Balances" LOL), have little to NO mobility, can't even SA trade anymore, and are quite literally... a SITTING DUCK. "Well, why don't you just teleport away?" We are a close/mid-ranged BATTLE MAGE using an OUTDATED kit against classes that can close the gap in an instant, so try again...
