The parts marked on the image are missleading/false:
1, It doesn't give any DP, it used to, but got reworked, but the text did not updated to reflect that it now reduces damage taken instead.
2, It doesn't give any debuff resistance, it gives resistance, or crowd control resistance.
3, This part is totally pointless. You can only get debuff from an opponent so that doesn't even makes sense, regardless limitations about the resistance do not bellong into an ability tooltip, it's writen into the stat's tooltip already.
CC or crowd control is not an official name in black desert. The overall name for Freezing / Stiffness / Knockdown etc Resistance is "Debuff Resistance". All CCs are officially called debuffs => You can also see that in the AoS stats. So number 2 is actually correct.

Can you show me a picture of a debuff applied by a cc?
The CC is the debuff. Simple as that.
The CC is the debuff. Simple as that.
Debuff literately means a negative buff, if there is no negative buff that is applied then it's not a debuff. It's simple as that.
It's not very solid trying to argue that a literal word means something entierly different than what it is.
Also you are wrong. While it was miss translated into debuff in some older tooltips, it's not an offcial name, as in most cases it ain't even called debuff resistance, they just never bothered to fix them and left it inconsistent and missleading.
Older Tooltips you say? Its literally in the tooltips for Lightstone set effects, as well as in the AoS Window:
Neither of those are particularly old.
Additionally, in the PvP and Stat guides in the Wiki, CC effects are also called Debuffs, and resistance is defined as resistance against debuffs.
As I said, it is an official term for CC effects in BDO, as of now.
If we consider the definition of a debuff:
- Is your character weaker? => Well, your char is literally unable to do anything but flee. Sounds weaker to me.
- Is it a negative status effect? => Considering that the status is "cannot move or attack", thats seems rather negative to me
So the definition of it still fits. Even though both terms "CC" and "Debuff" are used, in most cases, debuff is the official name when considering effects on gear or skills.
CC is more often used for CC counts or explanations / descriptions outside of the game (aka Wiki / Guides).
