Title: Port Epheria 1-4, 2F - [Ship Repair Kit] Craft Update NEEDED BADLY!
Family Name:
Awabi
Region (NA/EU): NA
Suggestion/Comments: Please rework the craft time and or amount of [Ship Repair Kit] to reflect more closely to Origin  of Wind x5.

I have highlighted in the image included the main reasons why these adjustments are desperately needed.

As you can see, the craft time for [Ship Repair Kit] is very long compared to [Origin of Wind] x5 to the point that it doesn't make sense to even make it. This is also very apparent when comparing the market data.
The only reason one would craft [Ship Repair Kit] is to be able to repair you ship faster at a greater cost. That is fair, easier to get back on your sea grind, etc etc. But if it takes months to craft enough to be able to repair quickly for a short time there isn't much of a point.

Currently there would also be no point in crafting [Ship Repair Kit] vs [Origin of Wind] x5 if looking to sell your crafted items on the market either as [Glue] is the more challenging item to get in bunk and they both require the same amount regardless that one is x5 and the other isn't.

Even with the more expensive price of using [Ship Repair Kit] being high fairly high compared to standard [Ship Repair Material], it would be nice if it were a viable option for those wishing to use it.

Ideally matching craft times of [Origin of Wind] x5 and turning [Ship Repair Kit] into a x5 craft would be a nice solution to this problem and would be a great fix to this dated issue.

Alternatively, decreasing craft times 120min > 6 min or something that would compare to [Origin of Wind] x5 (30min at x5) would be acceptable as well even though it would come at much greater of a cost and not make as much sense in reflection of the sellers market.

*edit* better yet, REMOVE it from Port Epheria 1-4, 2F as a craft item and turn it into a personal craft item. Maybe Manufacturing so it still has some time constraints if that is a concern for whatever reason.

That is my suggestion! Please help me!!! :D

The main reason I feel this suggest is needed is for those who are hunting Ebenruth Nol. Hunting Crocs all day everyday is very frustrating... but treasure items are not easy as we all know. The WORST part of doing it though is when needing to repair and needing to AFK for minutes at a time using [Ship Repair Material] and let buffs waste away. I would literally be happy to pay more silver just to be able to speed up that aspect and have no problems with the added costs and needing to gather for Glue etc, OR pay to buy the [Ship Repair Kit] from the market. Either or really, but neither option really exist currently for this exact reason.

Good suggestion, this item has too high of a cost compared to the Breezy Crystal x 5 to consider making it, both considering time and output.

You covered all the points, I think making it a 5x craft and reducing the time by 2.5 and increase the materials required if need be.

I did a quick math on the cost to profit of both of these items. Cost to craft the Breezy's are ~182,000 per item considering current market prices and the output being 5x. The cost for the Ship Repair Kit's are at ~461,100 considering a single craft from the node. You'd be a fool to craft this item at PE compared to Breezy Crystals, and sell it on the market. Yes it's convenient, and I think most people who want to use this item are fine with the high cost. But I do agree, the time it takes and CP investment are a little extreme.

I don't like the idea of moving it to Processing/Manufacture though, if anything, move it to a normal Ship Part Workshop instead of PE 1-4 2F.
