Sorry to be negative, but this new trade system is horrendous.

First, you completely killed island trading.  I even went out to Arehaza as it's like the only node with a wharf and a trade manager, YOU CAN'T LOAD YOUR BOAT DIRECTLY FROM THE TRADE MANAGER!!!!!!!! >.<

Half the point of having an Advance carrack was for island trading, loading up 40 trade goods from Velia and dropping off to an island, etc.  Now what????  

Want to fish at Illya Island?   Well now you have to sail back to Velia to sell the fish!!

You used to be able to hop from node to node to node picking up, selling at the next load and reloading from that same node, then off to the next.  No you pick up at one node, sell to a major city, then you can't reload in the city, meaning half of your trade time is riding around with an empty wagon.

On the topic of Arehaza.. you're saying I can't sell Arehaza goods to Valencia?  That means I now have to connect Altinova all the way to Arehaza???

Don't be sorry! Please, continue to be negative! They need to understand how poorly received this update is. I'm bumping every thread blasting it because these changes are beyond unacceptable. If this is their idea of improving life skills, my days in this game are numbered.

The whole reason why I made an Advance as my 2nd carrack was for island trading.  And they killed it!  I'm literally pissed off at this update.

I want a friggin refund of a month's worth of work, 40k crow coins, 4 bil silver, and $65 for a carrack skin and $25 for more sailor slots that I sank into this boat specifically for island trading that you just killed.

You can technically move trade items by boat, but their system is poorly set up, so you have to put your items in a wagon, then move the wagon to yourself/normals storage, then move stuff to the ship. Horrible system. Moving items from Arehaza to velia wasn't worth it in terms of silver. I miss the old trade system. 

The only good thing about this new trading system is that they removed the desert buff. My lvl 49 lifeskiller is happy with that. @SnakeGoddess, ha! See?! I broke the system, found one good thing about it!

Other than that, everything's horrible. Old Moon Newsletter should be renamed to Old Moon Rumor Mill, since the amount of time the information is wrong makes it just a frustrating extra window to forget exists. The elephant's useless. The whole system of running around (based on the newsletter) only to then continue running around and just sell at a loss in frustration at the other end of the world is just a time waster and joy-killer. The prices are dumb, the way you interact with the trade goods is dumb. Being forced to only sell in towns is dumb, being unable to do all the thing that made the old system fun is beyond dumb. Crates are worse, trading experience is worse, time wasting is through the roof. There's absolutely no fun to be had in this whole new (and definitely not improved) trading minigame...

But at least my 49 trader doesn't have to worry about the desert trade buff no more...

Exactly! I will also concede the following point: If you were already doing your fishing in a major town, and selling your fish in the same town, this is an unhindered buff to fishing money. But really, who cares about an extra 20m/day?

Unfortunately, fishing did not really receive a buff.

Yes, you can now sell your fish at double the price as before, since the fish price as increased due to the loss of the desert buff.

However, trade managers now have their prices synced between all servers which makes you not being able to switch to another server to sell your fish at a better rate. I used to be able to sell my fish at Valencia at a good 115% plus trade margin, but since the update I cannot sell one fish above 108% and most of the good fishes (prize catches) are being sold at 90% (this is not the value of fish given by "freshness").

This is due to the trade manager reducing it's value on the amount of the same fish sold.

Fishing right now hurts players who made efforts to fish in distant/dangerous zones to get better fish.

Fixed the auto-load to boat issue, but PLEASE ADD TRADE MANAGERS ON AT LEAST ONE OF THE ISLANDS THAT WE CAN BUY AND SELL TO!!!!!!e

And since it needs to be a different region now..   add it to Oquilla!!

Valencia is mostly a no go, considering distance bonus is nearly nothing in trade. The best regions are the main ones, Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon and Mediah. The rest are usually not worth.

And there they go: giving us no reason to expand our horizons, and limiting us to the core regions of the game.

Maybe they're embarrased at how under developed the new regions  are and want to keep us out of them, instead of making them better?
