Clearer guidelines on what will/not be genuinely considered for implementation

It was pretty clear from the advent of the new system, that feedback falls into two broad categories:

1) Quick fixes, that have little impact but are easy to address (afraid of clowns - fixed)

2) Detailed, systemic changes that would have significant knock-ons and fundamentally change the game (improve lifeskill silver for x, improve PvP for y class - discussed then discarded).

It is somewhat apparent that the board is for 'quick fixes', or trivial changes, but I'm not sure if this was the intent. I do realise that what might seem a simple balance request to a player, is not necessarily a simple balance change when considering all the game mechanics/classes/situations. But I think some more guidance on this would really be helpful in ensuring people can post as constructively as possible. If we do really think, with evidence, a certain thing is imbalanced, and not a trivial UI/feature request, what's the best way to present this and argue it in a way that's constructive and feasible for the devs? Some guidelines would go a long way to this - even if they're complex, and set clear, challenging standards of proof, this would ensure time not wasted posting, and time for the devs politely refusing.

On topic number 2) they'll tag a topic with "Discussing" if they already have it in the pipeline. Also on that topic, what the community here suggests may conflict with what KR or other region wants which may lead to a "Reviewed". Lastly, there are 2 more things to consider. First, if we're looking at what has happened so far, the changes they made seem to be done without rigorous playtesting (otherwise, for example, they might've caught up on how bad their Mysterious Giant Griefer Guild will be), leading to an "Applied" status that just makes a lot of things worse. Lastly, as it's the case with the request for more group content, there is this possibility that the GMs will use the publicly known information to justify the refusal ("Land of the Morning Light will have a variety of bosses that can be tackled alone or in the group") only for PA to scrap that plan and then probably say it's too difficult to implement due to the way rewards are handed out.

So the 2 categories are more like:

1) Quick fixes (adding the Fughar Riding Crop).

2) Detailed, systemic changes that won't be implemented ever, if PA doesn't plan to do it, regardless of your feedback, especially if it takes too much time from designing low quality, glitchy and poorly animated outfits.

This is probably the most accurate thing said, which is why I usually limit my feedback to something that I think can be done by one dev, in one day (tops).

Systematic balance changes that aren't already mentioned at Balls/Events have not been considered thus far, to my knowledge. Sorting through the rubbish is tedious, I understand. They need to meet their bottom end, retain a player base, I get it, but I like this thread because I hope for a better way to discuss feedback and receive feedback on our suggestions

It's also why I try to pop over to the KR forums and see what they are asking for. One major topic is the new health/mana pots that are superior to our infinite pots. KR players are asking for them to be removed completely, or asking for our infinite pots to be upgradeable (?) I believe. Once (or If) those are released, I feel this forum will be in an uproar about them, you'll be spending 600 million - 1 billion silver per hour during a war, some have tested/estimated.

Some topics on their Feedback Forum are requests to improvements of bartering, sailing, a wardrobe system and some PvE balance changes to specific classes.

This is what we (myself included) need to keep in mind when giving feedback. This isn't OUR game, it's THEIR game. A lot of pvp discussions are total non-starters because, from what I've heard, not many people flag up in Korea. It's a completely different cultural environment simply because it's so much harder to make a fake account. That simple fact alone has a cascading effect across the game.

This is just an empty PR stunt what did you even expect really?

What balance changes do you even talk? Back then they promised that they will continue balancing, yet they not did any meaningfull balance adjustment ever since that. The balance is in a worse state it ever was yet still no care from PA. Even in their meme arena, when a single spec reaches 17% popularity in the top100, there is zero f given by PA. And then they wonder why everyone jsut meme on their "competitive PvP" kek...

Regardless balance is not really what the purpose of this section would be since every player just want his class to get buffed, like the certain dude who crys about his class in every topic, despite his class is priority recruiment non-stop for every top PvP guilds since the last 3-4 years...

Also it's unresonable ot expect PA to implement large changes dude to a single player/minority here. This forum doesn't even represents 0.01% of the palyers, it's useless for geting usefull feedback, and since PA doesn't even care about the feedback, most players don't even bother coming here in the first place, why would they bother when the devs are so lazzy that they didn't even take the effort to implement 1 minute fixes? There are topics over there which literately took more effort than the actuall fix would take, they are just lazzy or don't care, pick whethewer you prefer...

Like just do some fact check:

Totall suggesitons 6877 100%
Answered suggestions 26 0.37%
Solved suggesitons 7 0.1%

Statisctically you have higher chance of onetaping a PEN BS on 0FS than your suggestion actually getting adressed by PA.

Again, misinterpretting what I said. When I said the word balance, I meant it as a something larger than classes in PvP. It could be PvE balance income for each class, it could be Lifeskill Vs. PvE, Lifeskill Vs. Lifeskill income, etc. Everything. More often than not, I come on this board and see jumbled and angry posts about nerf this class, my class weak, delete these items, etc.

I understand you're upset about the state of the game, and that's fine, but I feel like your attacking statements from the small community who are here to trying to help in the only way we can, besides quitting the game. We are on the same side. You even say it yourself "Also it's unreasonable to expect PA to implement large changes due to a single player/minority here. This forum doesn't even represent 0.01% of the players"

TBH, if I was a professional developer, and I saw the people playing my game arguing in threads, I'd skip them immediately and move on.

Exactly my sentiment. There are so many posts about how terrible the karma system is here. Over there? There was an instance of someone getting griefed into oblivion, to the point they had to apologize on their version of Reddit (Inven) for excessively flagging/attacking people.

Changes will not happen here if they do not start happening in KR first, like you said..it's THEIR game. If we want to see any positive changes, I personally would try to mirror what they post on KR. It's easy to see the board, for anyone else reading this, Google Translate works....good enough lol.

I think the main problem is that we have 0 idea of what they consider good/balanced in anything. Even just having numbers of what they consider average would be good. We don't have that kind of info, so everyone just throws out ideas to improve something they might not think needs improving because it's where they want it.

Hey Enyani!

Thank you and everyone else for your input and discussion on this topic. I understand the frustration and confusion from the lack of posts being responded to and moved to the Adventurer Feedback Board. We are working on a better internal process to evaluate and respond to posts at the moment and we appreciate your patience. In the meanwhile, we have updated the Guidelines for the Feedback Section of the forums.

Thank you again for your input and I hope this helps with future posts!
