Didn't we get to the point where content was like 1-2 weeks behind or sometimes on the same release time? Hasn't it been three weeks already since the release of the new land. Whats up with that
You kinda missmatch things.
Patches are not "content". Patches are only a few week behind. However content patches like new zones was always months behind KR since they need to translate everything to other languages.

They still fixing bugs and unintentional screw ups in KR, after Land of Morning Light patch. If you want to see some of these things and hear directly from a English speaking KR player who participates in all aspects of BDO game play check out "Huehotbar."
Very friendly, logical, and truthful, no nonsense BDO streamer (He's on Twitch and Youtube).

They never ever done that, and will never ever do. Everytime there is new zone, all the bugs and screw ups coming together with it.
Delays usually to counter new games, like D4 for example, and they took a lot for voicing cutscenes/NPS's noone care about (beside 1 -2 "content creators", which you can thank for delay)

If you want to know the release dates of Pearl Abyss content, it's simple :
Awakening Maegu/Woosa > June 2023 (Diablo 4)
Land of Morning Light > October 2023 (Thrones and Liberty)
And even if they don't release them on these dates precisely, we will still have a big event over several weeks to force us to stay connected all day like with lost ark and the big lottery where you had to stay connected 10 hours a day..
Otherwise someone on reddit gave the delays between Kr and EU/NA releases
Mountain of Eternal Winter | KR: 2021.12.29 | Global: 2022.04.08
O'dylllita | KR: 2020.03.04 | Global: 2020.10.07
Drieghan | KR: 2018.03.08 | EU/NA: 2018.11.14
Considering how many bugs can be in the content that comes to us (and it's only translated) I prefer to wait even 2-3 months, especially since Land of Morning Light will be DOA content because Western players don't want content where their stats are worthless.
(...)
No event will make players play BDO, BDO requires thorough changes that PA will never introduce because they are contrary to their "vision of the game" and according to PA they give them a lot of profit (but they are short-sighted, because increasing the playability means more players, i.e. more money).
BDO has been in a vegetative state for years and will continue to do so until the servers are shut down (of course it won't happen today or tomorrow, Cabal Online has been vegetating for almost 15 years).
They just destroyed another class (Archer) and are they going to do something about it? Probably not. For me it is equivalent to the end of playing, I can "play" in life skill, but what for.

Speak for yourself. I will be doing this content because gear is irrelevant in it.

It's already dead tho. Like you can just get despairs so why even bother with the new zone? You spam R on the questline and kill the bosses once for the log, then forget that they even exits. Really worth the developer time they burn on it...

Which will make you even more discover how gigantic disproportions between classes are.
Again (eg.) striker will kill these bosses with one finger and (eg.) wizard won't even be able to approach them (same as Elvia kzarka: some classes have 2 minutes left and others will take 60-75% of kzarka's health in the time available; and so does the Pit of Undying).

Exactly. But PA will try to force us to play there.

Hello!
What you are referring to is the weekly patch updates but when it comes to massive "DLC-size" updates like the Eternal Winter expansion or Land of the Morning Light, there will be some added wait time because when the expansion releases in Korea, it is released in its native language and practically immediately after they get it ready for launch. Unfortunately, to my best understanding, that doesn't give any time for the translation teams in other parts of the world the time to translate tens of thousands of new lines and hire voice actors. As you have noticed with Eternal Winter, a lot of work was put in the voice acting and cinematics which requires plenty of work while translating.
It may be a few more months before it is available in other parts of the world such as NA/EU but there is no word on the progress right now.
