Over 40 guilds have reached the guild score cap of 2000. This is a problem because, reaching the Guild Score cap removes a fun incentive for guilds to work together to complete guild missions. Since reaching the cap, my guild has become a lot less motivated to work on guild missions and I think this really takes a tole on overall morale. This is a particularly big issue with so many guilds at the guild score cap, as guilds place on the guild ranking board by default are deteremined by this metirc. With upwards of 40 guilds some guilds with the score cap and names that come late alphabetically are relugated all the way to the third page of guild rankings. I believe pursuing higher places on the ranking board is a fun incentive for guild members and a great tool for building a community, and thus the cap should be increased or removed all together.
That merely mean that those guilds reached max level.
Also literately noone does guild quests cause the guild score.
While that is true that they use that to list the guilds, it's not like anyone would use that page to dedice which guild to join anyway...
I and several of my guildies use to do guild quests for the guild score. Competing for higher guild ranks was fun while it lasted. I don't think anyone uses that list to decide what guild to join but I do think it's fun to compete for higher ranks anyways. Just like it's fun to try to get higher ranks on the lifeskill/lvl/rbf ranking boards. Personally I feel like reaching max level is antithetical to BDO, it's always been a game where you can just keep grinding forever. There are technically hard caps in some cases but they should be so high that only very few people if any ever reach them.
