Or do you prefer that there were less servers, that you prefer to see more of the player population around in the game if there were less servers?

What about if incentives were added to grouping together like additional rewards? Do you think it would motivate people to be more interested in forming a group together?

black desert population is stable since several years, so not reason to increase people in server, if our population is cut by half i can understand for the less server for pearl abyss to not pay for semi empty server

but in 2023 nothing show black desert population decreased, so not reason to ask less server 

what you suggesting only work in game with instance, for example in tera we clicking on a dungeon we want join and the system put you automatically with other people in this dungeon, we have to wait like 1 minutes to 1 hour

but this systeme cant work in black desert, because we dont have instance or dungeon and the system will not teleport you to the dungeon, so you must to wait several minutes than your teamate come to the place

like other say black desert is not friendly to group together

the only closer to your suggestion is world boss and sometime gm event

You misunderstood me, that's not what I was suggesting. I meant when grinding with others in a group as well as doing other similar activities, we could have a bit of an extra reward instead of when doing it solo on your own. I think it's possible to have such a thing in the game if it's not much higher than when doing it solo, and the reward could be anything, we could easily come up with many ideas for that.

i already experience that in lineage 2 and i didnt keep good souvenir, was painful and long

and your time and his time need to be in harmony

and you have situation where only 3 or 4 class can really enjoy that, while 3 or 4 class will never able to find group, because it will turn people will try to have the best possible group, so witch and wizard will benefit from that, i am not so sure for valkyrie and warrior

it is why mmorpg turn into solo experience

I mean aren't we managing to play a game like BDO that makes us go around a huge map on a horse, where there are no flying mounts and there is so much realism implemented into it like a dying horse, bag weight and other things?

I'm wondering if you play BDO because it's an MMORPG or because of other aspects of the game?

Because the game is marketed as an MMORPG, not a single player game, even if much of its design is centered on allowing solo play, so I try to take some time to enjoy it with others as well.

yes, but now mmorpg and online game turn into solo with group like an option, but not a obligation, especially for a open world, it is not like the good old time with healer/tank/dps

so join a guild and made friends list and go on discord or tik tok

you dont need to reduce the number of server for that, you can join guild or made friend list it is easier than to ask pearl abyss to reduce the number of server

About it being fatal, that's not necessarily always the case, WoW and FFXIV have been doing it for a decade and more and I wouldn't consider it to have been a flaw for the two.

I did not mean to suggest that solo game play becomes irrelevant, it can still remain the same, it's just that the reward doesn't need to become "so OP" when done right, and it's very possible for that to happen in my opinion.

I never waited 20 minutes in the game to form a group even in the game's current condition, I just ask friends for 3-5 mins or ask whoever I meet in the area when I reach it if we can form a group, it can be as simple as that and the rewards don't necessarily need to be ridiculous, they can be done in a proper manner.

But yes, BDO being a solo-focused game for 7 years can have such an effect but PA have shown they are willing to take risks in making drastic changes to the way the gameplay is in Land of the Morning Light from what we can see so far and I think it's a good thing.
