Could one of the reasons for this crash on loading be an access error? I say one, because there is another thing I’m looking at too, but not got what I need on that one yet.

Seems the game writes to GameOption.txt each time you load in, and then the game wants to reload this file just after.

See image. This was on re spawning in RBF. Maybe someone wants to look into it. It could be one of the issues.

Yes I got this message, maybe it very rare to get it without it being a crash? E.G. maybe there is an issue where the game and Player’s OS are reading and writing at the same time, so BDO hits an unexpected end of file and crashes?

Could be very important info if that’s the case. This may have been very rare to catch as the game ttied to start loading just as the OS remove the old image of the file, but before it started wring the new one (milli seconds), so did not crash but captured the error and dealt with this in this fashion. The game went on to load normally after this message.

If this is one of the crashes, then the fix Is simple: hold setting in memory and only load the file on start main login, and only write to it on confirming setting (yeah know optimized?)
