The lobster method that is used in BDO exists, but the method of using the epoxy created on the "feet" of the small molluscs is a modern way of making glue in laboratory.

I think it would be more realistic if we could use these 3 methods of making glue, because they are real and old ways of making glue.

1º method is heated pine sap and mixed coal powder in equal proportions, use it while it's still warm and let it cool until it's hard and durable.

2º method is to use rawhide, soaking the hide in hot water so the proteins will dissolve in the water, then straining the hide glue and letting it dry to a gelatinous state to be usable.

3º method is to heat the milk and add a little vinegar so that the curd separates from the whey, filter the curd and add the sodium bicarbonate to it and a little water and mix it up, heat it up again until the glue is thick.

And here I thought this topic was going to be about disposing of excess mounts :)

That is a very cool idea!

I love the realistic approach to this suggestion. Would be a nice QoL improvement, making sapping slightly more attractive and something to burn excessive hides on.

How about just send our junk horses that we train to the glue factory?

I'd stick to just adding more crafting recipes that all can lead to the exactly same glue. 

Also, maybe the 2nd process is a bit too long? 2 more intermediate products that have no other application, needing localization and thorough testing (like all things BDO). So maybe let's add the magical power of the powder of flame and either mix the 3 or manufacture them or something?

I support the idea, I just don't think it will get implemented if... well, the process is longer than dropping a few fences close to a bridge.

I'll try to see more old ways to do it and put it in this topic, and try to shorten the second processing and use ingredients that BDO has

Looks promising. Now the only thing we still need is for PA to actually read feedback from this little bit of the world called "not Korea"... Which doesn't seem to be happening.

I saw a thread here, about reworking the sailors interface. It got completely ignored by everyone. Funny enough, it's on the KR feedback board. And another funny thing about it is that the 200 upvotes on the OP is not mandatory there.
