I have encountered a bug while harpoon fishing on a fishing boat out in the Zulutian sea and in Magoria before. I drove the boat out to the area and was harpooning a bit, then swapped characters to grab a buff. Swapped back to the fisher with the harpoon on the boat. Grabbed the buff and then started fishing again but it did not catch anything for 20 minutes while before the fishing time was around 1 min or so with the "Fishing resources" being Abundant. Swapping weapons and swimming to a nearby island to get ground beneath the character did not fix the problem.

Further things I tested was character screen relog to same character. The way the character just stood there Searching for fish was kind of similar as when i first tried harpooning off a bartali sailboat instead of the fishing boat.

Further testing maybe it has to do with wave movement or the level as I have no noticed it occasionally clips be through the boats floor and into the water after swapping to a character on same server that I logged out from that character from.

Harpooning has always been buggy in this regard. You just have to keep reloging until it starts working again and ofc make sure that you are in an area where harpooning works cuz it does require a certain water depth (this is probably based on the water depth fishing zones rather than visual depth).

Okay I have found full closing of game and restart fixed the issue every time. Relogging just between characters never fixed the issue. Hopefully it can get a fix at some point with the Information.
