I think stamina is a poorly balanced resource on the whole game and should get "reworked" across most classes, I'm not disagreeing with your take about ranger, but many people that disagree might just be comparing it to their own classes that also have unfair or annoying stam usages. Like, if are from succ kuno, awk sage, succ musa and some other classes pov that thing you mentioned from having a "timer" running in your gameplay is a thing for like years, meanwhile, you have classes that do not care about it like succ zerker and those that have stam costs but are totally manageable like awk sorc or succ ninja I. E. . Our current definition of heavy stam classes is basically those that can not manage it, like u explained, IMO all of those should be moved to the "have costs but manageable" category, and shit like succ zerker running at that speed while recovering stam and with decent protection should not exist neither.

People are just idiots and this is the reason why they nerfed this class. 

Barely anyone played ranger awakening i dont understand why they felt to nerf it now to the point where it cant even compete with sage. 

Because more popular streamers have their completely biased opinions from small sample size empirical evidence valued higher than any form of data collection or objective performance comparison 

They literally do not balance around any metrics but how 'people feel' and who they listen to is arbitrary. 

Stamina regen is something that they typically forget about when balancing. This post contains more valid reasoning on why the change should be made than they used to make the nerfs in the first place so hopefully someone who understands game balance beyond a surface level sees this. 

(example: if a class goes out of stamina completely, grinding at a pace that still can't keep up with a meta class, and this isn't changed, it is clear that the balance team has literally never played this class in that situation.)

Why do fast classes with protected & high velocity (distance covered per sec) have no limitations of stamina (i.e zerkers musa) whatsoever,

while slow OR unprotected movement classes are so stamina gated to the point they're so miserable to play in this meta?

Pressure play is way too one-sided to the high velocity classes because they can disengage just as fast as they can engage, and slow classes have 0 chase potential because they are also stamina gated. Now, it doesn't matter how good the neutral play is.

PA needs to rethink on how impactful each type of movement these classes have, especially blinks, teleports, and tp-behind-you-nothing-personal-kid movements. All these new classes have speed of sound movements with blinks, it's like if PA doesn't understand that players don't have superhuman reactions.

Yea, the balance is so lackluster, i never understood that either.

Right now she is just an awakened tamer with stamina issues, no protected cc (apart from the core skill and EES, whenever that iframe decides to work), slow moving and high cooldowns. Maybe with the changes you propose we might get a chance to actually have enough stamina to actually disengage longer fights faster than someone who just puts away weapons and runs.

The class needs nerfs before any buffs.

Class already just I frames everything like awakening sorc and has best grab in game that for no reason also kds. 

Yeah I understand that its annoying but that doesn't corrolate with the class being strong in the overall game. The grapple is strong but we play in a meta where people don't care about landing cc's in the first place. I still have to go for a CC in melee range while from 30 feet away I am getting hit by an extreme amount of range and all of my HP is being chipped away standing.
