i am not against this system, but unfortunally catdk is right you can abuse this system to farm reward or trade something for irl money
i can see 2 friends going to isolate place in the mountain to farm bounty system or to bypass the trade system if the red player drop his stuff after his death

How can you even decide something can be abused when we don't even have a definitive version on official servers?
Yep, if the system is badly thought, it will be an open door to exploit. But that's obvious and this reasoning works for anything in a game.

i just said catdk is right and i gave you 2 exemples how to exploit bounty system
if you get reward for killing red player, you can create level 56 to be red character to killing a level 50 dummy and after your character or your guildie or friend go to kill this red character dummy
the other it is if red player drop his stuff, so the guy want trade his pen for 1000$ and instead to use market he will go to isolate place with his customer, he put his pen on his level 50 toon and go killing the level 50 character customer to go red, the customer switch to his level 63 to kill the level 50 red player and this level 50 red player drop his pen stuff and the customer just pick up the pen
we talk about pearl abyss you really think they are smart enough to avoid exploit and abuse ? if one day we get bounty hunter i can see people bypassing the market to sell or buy their pen

Well, I'll let you hate every update as much as you like, my goal was only to make you recognize that the worst scenario you were painting was already countered by the proposal they made on global lab. The flaws you were imagining were taken into consideration in their project, though this one did not land on official servers.

because i am not alone, even pearl abyss seem to hate their own update when they rid their own dungeon or pvp mode
i only see 3 options
exploit to farm reward
exploit to bypass market
nobody care, because reward suck, only current hunter care, but the guy already hunt red player now, so it doesnt really change so much
for the rest, they will not waste their time to travel to other side of the map for crappy reward
There's a less development resource costly solution for the same purpose.
When you turn red Auto-Function that transports you to Arsha Server and locks you inside for as long as you're red.
1. Its immersive. You became a Criminal and the world is now dangerous.
2. Its a choice. Harder content better drops and no Karma to worry about.
3. Anyone who PvEs/ Auto Paths/ Lifeskills from Heidel to Calpheon wont have to worry about Traps and Ambushes by Red Players/ Guilds.
However they'll have to add Bosses on Arsha too or leave Arsha as it is and turn the 6th Server from each channel into Servers for the whole purpose with Bosses.
It would make PvP Servers more interesting and PvE servers less annoying. Everyone wins.
btw. The bounty system wouldn't work.
People aren't interested on the PvE servers to hunt other people otherwise they would join to get rid off the trap laying ambushers outside Heidel only complain about it. Its understandable though since you only want to do content you choose whenever you choosed it.
