Suggestions/Comments:

The current crow coin accumulation is ridiculous.  Saving 2 million crow coins for a Nol takes 2 years.   Getting your 40k crow coins for green gear when you first get a carrack is also a pain, given how slow the carrack is at that point.

Suggested fix:

Add "Claws of the Waves" as a guaranteed drop for EVERY sea monster.  Young Hekaru/Ocean Stalker should drop 1.  Every hungry hekaru/ocean stalker, goldmont boat, black rust, nineshark, candidum, and saltwater crocodile should drop some.  

This gives us either additional crow coins, or a separate path for accumulating coins rather than the current 2 years worth of crow coin bartering.

I wouldn't add claws of waves to trash mobs right outside Oquilla. But having the mean ones guaranteed to drop 1+ of them (affected by agris/ls maybe?) would work. 

I don't like bartering at all. Between the lack of sailors to tackle currents and the glitching of the boat, the amount of time it takes to play through 2-3 resets is just unreasonable, if you like doing more things in a day. So having a reliable alternative to that (using the carrack's guns to pulverize bad sea monsters, let's say?) would be great. Which we don't. Which we won't, 'cause PA can't be arsed to revisit the sea content. And, given the latest 2 revamps (of training, trading) and the latest QoL "boost" that can easily get your horse killed... I don't think I want PA to revamp sea content right now.
